Best new place to stay in Lily Dale NY. We have all new beds ranging from King to Twin XL. New flat screen tvs in every room. View of Lake Cassadaga. Keurig coffee makers in each room as well as mini frig in most rooms. Coffee porch.

Reviewed By raechul0I have been visiting Lily Dale solo for years and I try to book a guest house each time. For my most recent visit, I decided to give Southern Comfort a chance and I'm glad I did! Joseph and Craig are wonderful accommodating hosts and their home is beautiful. I felt welcomed, cared for, and even included (which was an unexpected surprise). Some of the best moments from my trip were simply chatting with the hosts around the home or on the screened porch. As far as amenities, I do not know of another Lily Dale guest house that offers nearly as many. Beyond the air conditioning, my room had a mini-fridge with bottled water and coffee creamer, a Keurig coffee maker with mugs and fixings, and a flat-screen TV complete with Netflix access! The beds are the most comfortable in the Dale! If that's not amazing enough, Craig put fresh flowers on my nightstand when I arrived. I was also pleased to learn that some of the guest rooms will be upgraded with private bathrooms. If it's not obvious already, I know EXACTLY where I'll be staying during my visit next season. Thank you, Joseph, Craig, (and Blue!) for sharing your home with me and treating me like a queen. Wishing you the best and looking forward to seeing you again soon!

Our favorite guest house
Reviewed By Wende BI’m reviewing with 5 stars. I’ve been taking my family to Lilydale since 1995. Don’t think you’re going to modern experience but it’s a great warm and charming guest house. Yes it’s old. It’s basic but wonderfully charming and Jan is positivity lovely. Perfectly located on the lake you can walk out and have morning coffee on the dock. Cast your pole in the water and reel them in like crazy. Kitchen stocked with everything you need. Rooms are very simple yet wonderfully charming. The negative reviews I believe are due to the reviewers expectations that it’s new and modern. It’s run flawlessly if you don’t try to have Jan change house rules to what you want them to be. If you book with no expectations other than perfectly situated, simple and safe you’ll absolutely enjoy the experience. Jan and Jays IS Lilydale. Be prepared to walk and walk. Just attending various classes and workshops I averaged 3.7 miles per day. You’ll climb 2 sets of stairs from sleeping room to lowest level several times a day. If you can’t do this it’s not for you. Follow the rules, have no expectations and you’ll rebook again and again. EVERYTHING in Lilydale is old! So Embrace the experience .

Reviewed By MarmieGracesMomWe stayed in the White Lotus room of Aurora's House of Light and Joy (Aurora Guest house) while in Lilydale for three days. We chose the White Lotus because we traveled with our family dog. Our pre-teen slept comfortably on the living room lounge sofa and the King size bed was amazing. We loved having a private space to ourselves, including kitchen and bathroom. It's on the ground level so there are no stairs. Joyce was easy to deal with, quick to respond and perfectly accommodating to all our needs. I would highly recommend this house for your next visit to the Dale.

Lovely Guest House
Reviewed By Jacqueline CThe stay here was lovely. Choice of double or single rooms, refrigerators in most rooms, 2 full bathroom per 5 guest rooms. Historic house in Lily Dale, with a fantastic coffee porch with 24 hour beverages, refrigerator, nice sitting area and one of the owners beautiful stain glass creations. Right across from large park and view of the lake. Cozy and comfortable. Very clean.
