Hidden Gem

We stayed in the upstairs Terrace Room and it was great! The room is large and has the heritage features of the old Warders Cottages. It is super clean and the bed was very comfy. The bathroom has plenty of space and the shower was huge! We enjoyed the complimentary mini bar for the first night of our stay and loved the sparkling water on tap! The included breakfast was a pastry and coffee in The Gimlet downstairs and this was usually enough for us to start the day. We stayed over Easter and the markets were open downstairs and we went in there to get a freshly squeezed orange juice each day at one of the stalls. It is a handy spot for the cafes, pubs and restaurants around Fremantle and definitely worth the stay and I would stay here again.

Very lovely spot and well located. My only disappointment was to wake in the morning and only find 1 tea bag available to make a cup of tea. But apart from that was absolutely lovely weekend. Also enjoys Gage roads brewing.... . ...............

Just wanting a nights accommodation we thought this was great value including breakfast - compared to other places on offer. Despite not being there to welcome us there was plenty of information provided by text to welcome us, let us in and advise where to park. The room was small but adequate for one night. We had the room with a shared bathroom. Not something I normally liked but only shared with the manager of the B&B so not too bad - just a small walk down the landing. breakfast was good - plenty of it and more if you wanted - good muesli, fruit and toast. good location - close to High street and walking to everything. The current manager is great - very helpful and friendly

What can I say that you can't see in the photo's? Rooms are gorgeous and the bathroom is lovely, but you can see that in the photo's Beds are super comfy, the best night sleep I have had in ages Breakfast is wonderful and the still warm bread was so yummy But the best thing for me is the host. I had a slight issue and called her at 9:30 pm on Christmas Eve, which I felt was a little unfriendly. But she had the issue fixed within 10 minutes. And that kind of service is not something you see every day Ex-hospo staff here, and would highly recommend this B&B to anyone

Booked here for a couple of nights. It is in an excellent location beside the CAT bus stop and close to several excellent restaurants. Our room was spotless and the breakfast provided in the fridge delicious. The bathroom was tiny, We were glad we are not too tall or large! Nice toiletries, however. It was nice to be able to sit outside and have a nightcap. We were disappointed that we never at any point saw our hosts, who certainly knew we were there!

Overnight stay to enjoy the weekend in Fremantle. Booked without any previous experience of hotel or location. More a large bar with rooms rather than hotel with bar. Check in and key service from main bar. Room whilst fairly basic was large, great, comfortable double bed and ample storage space. Toilet, shower area small in comparison to room size. Friendly staff throughout. Ideal location for markets and other bar / restaurants if required. Not sure you would get a better deal in the locale...$100 for a good, clean, comfortable room, steak dinner with a few bottles of beer. Key drop departure. Only negative was i couldn't find any staff in the morning to leave my bag for a few hours, so suggest you make arrangements the previous evening if you require this service. Would stay here again based on this experience.
