Reviewed By Gail TChosen for its location we were not disappointed, once we had played the parking game in this picturesque fishing village turned tourist magnet. We arrived well ahead of schedule but our luggage was taken to our designated room with assurances that it would be ours within minutes and we saw one of the proprietors step in to speed the bedmaking. This simple, straightforward approach was reflected in the fresh white decoration and provision of good basic requirements for an overnight stay. Our room on the 1st floor had a balcony overlooking the port and daily bustle but was quiet enough to give us a good night's sleep in comfortable beds. The walk-in shower could be copied by many hotels that imagine they are superior. The sensible position of the wash basin, outside the toilet cabinet, was another practical solution to that often experienced morning ablutions delay. We have no hesitation in wishing this well led family a long and happy future while they offer such excellent accommodation by their hard work and attention to detail.

No, tv channels do not include international programs except cnn and one German zdf. But the lobby and the rooms smell nice, room is spacious, location is in the middle of the old town, and for one or two nights this place is wonderful. Begur is a place for hikers, bikers, and Costa Brava fans...

Reviewed By TripadeeThis is a gorgeous place on a hillside overlooking Cadaques. Believe Google maps when it brings you into town and round the roundabout to go out again – it seems counter intuitive but is correct. My heart sank thinking we’d have to get taxis back and forth to town but in fact there is a short cut by foot. Spread out buildings with a pool and sun terrace and lots of terraced planting. Great views over town and the bay. Run by lovely charming friendly family. The rooms are kind of chalet style. They are very simply appointed and quite small but very well done and comfortable. Very good breakfast freshly cooked and served to you. I would definitely stay here again if returning to this gorgeous town. Ask for a room that does not have a room above – the people above us returned at 4am and the noise of them walking around their room really travelled down.

A nice Hotel but noisy rooms
Reviewed By penybanc777We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights, it is in a great location, the rooms are clean but so noisy, you can hear everything!! Even you neighbours going to the toilet, we were very dissapointed stayed on the second floor and the noise above us was incredibly loud.

OK HOTEL...”HOT” TUB FREEZING!
Reviewed By jaybee2525Let’s be fair...this place is excellent for the money. Had a lovely room over the aforementioned restaurant and bar aka the annex. Winter so those amenities were closed so can’t comment on the downside. The problem was that it was downright COLD walking in wet suite from spa to the room...outside. That won’t kill me but just an added discomfort not being set up in the main hotel. However...the room was lovely, freshly painted with two balconies and a separate TV/2nd bedroom....did I mention freshly painted? Smelled of paint so strongly I had to avoid the room...alas completely booked up so no changing...ok...I’ll live with that too...but...the final straw and reason we won’t return...the very nice JACUZZI was FREEZING COLD...I asked the first 15 minutes and was told the guy who controls that was ‘out’ but tomorrow it will be hotter...only to find colder than before. The Spanish and french couples asked, my husband inquired again. All to no avail. So, this place is nice, lovely accommodations and good location just steps from the beach, good restaurants very close, but we won’t return.

Lovely little Hostal
Reviewed By JenniferkimsimpI have never stayed anywhere as clean as this! The room and communal hallways were absolutely spotless! It is quite possibly the cleanest place I have ever stayed! Our room also got made every day which was lovely to come back to and not what I expected from a Hostal ☺️ The room had everything we needed, extremely comfy bed, big wardrobe for storage, desk for makeup and lovely en-suite shower and loo. The Hostal is in a great location too and I would highly recommend visiting Tossa de Mar as it is very picturesque and lovely. The staff at the Hostal are extremely friendly and we chose to eat breakfast there on all days of our trip as for €3 you got 2 pieces of bread (toaster available for toasting + different jams, spreads and cherry tomatoes), orange juice (unlimited), a hot drink, a croissant and a mini muffin which we thought was amazing value. The only downside of the hotel was that there was no lift, but this is only a very small thing. Overall we loved our stay here and would stay again in a heartbeat! It was such great value and tossa is lovely!

We even run our own golfing and fishing excursions..B&B Rosell is 1 minutes’ walk from the bus station, with routes to the nearby Lloret de Mar. Tossa de Mar’s iconic castle, Villa Vella is 5 minutes away by foot. There is easy access to the AP7 Motorway, and Girona Airport is a 30-minute drive away.

Reviewed By Emmamac11We were not expecting much from this hostel as it was so cheap compared to all other accommodations, but we were happily surprised. The rooms are basic but clean, you have your own private bathroom but what makes it stand out is the beautiful outdoor area, which has live music I think most nights. Also the breakfast, for 5 € , is great value. You get coffee/tea, glass of juice with a choice of 3 varieties, a freshly made sandwich, a fresh pastry and a piece of fruit. We were full for hours. Also worth a mention, is Rosa on reception, who is always friendly and helpful.

Reviewed By Steve KReally nice little hotel. It is a few streets back from the beach but still an easy walk away. I had a room at the back of the hotel overlooking local vegetable plots. The front of hotel rooms are more expensive and have a larger balcony but I was happy were I was. Water pressure for the shower was fantastic and there was always plenty of hot water. As it is winter, they have placed electric heaters in the room, but I found that I didn't need to use it. The bed was firm, just the way I like it. The rooms are well insulated from noise, apart from doors being closed, I didn't hear a peep from my neighbours. Breakfast is okay, but the coffee sucks. I went to a local bar called MONS cafe for cafe solo so no biggie! The breakfast room is bright and airy and allows the early morning sunlight to come flooding in. Right now, due to the pandemic you are served most of the items rather than the normal self service. There is an outdoor seating area too for warmer weather. All in all I was very impressed.

All the rooms are equiped with air-condition, lcd tv 32", complet luxury toilet, wiffi, etc. The Hotel has one of the best Restaurant in town, where you will eat the best paella and fresh fish and shellfish. And if you want take a drink you will have our Irish Tavern.
