A great place for a overnight stay!

My boyfriend and I made a last minute decision to make an overnight trip. We decided on staying at this B&B and it was a good choice. Convenient to town, clean, and the owner (Ponsi) and her daughter (Diane) are wonderful hostesses. Breakfast was delicious and Diane sat with us and we chatted and learned that Ponsi is a musician and an artist .... and that the artwork throughout the house is her doing. Thank you both for a lovely stay! Debbie & Keith

Beautiful B&B with Outstanding Hospitality

We stayed in the Hudson Valley this past week at a 2018 renovated Victorian B&B in Marlboro NY called The Danskammer Inn. The owners have lived in the area for 30+ years and were a source of great recommendations and history. The whole experience was wonderful. The inn was beautifully renovated to its previous splendor and we felt pampered while there due to the gourmet breakfasts and afternoon snacks prepared for us, eaten on the back terrace overlooking their gardens and front porch, as well as the hospitality and warmth of our hosts. The location of the B&B was perfect for us as we toured the Hudson Valley. We highly recommend this beautiful, well run B&B. Quiet spot off the beaten path and lovely

We stayed 2 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Mountain Treasure. Out host Agnes prepared a delightful breakfast for us each morning with a side board of coffee, juice, and treats as well. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. For an old house the rooms and baths are modern and updated and kept very clean. We enjoyed watching Agnes dig in the dirt in her back yard garden as well as a stroll to the creek which runs behind the house. We chose this B&B for its central location in the middle of the Green County area of the Catskills. It was an easy drive to tour the surrounding towns and short drive to the lakes and waterfalls with extensive walking trails. We'd go back again anytime, a great experience.

We had a great time staying at this cozy, beautiful wood style building while skiing Hunter mountain. Great breakfast was served. Just sitting by the fireplace or playing one of the many games they have in another area by the lobby contributed to a fun off skiing hours. There’s coffee, free drinks and snacks 24/7. Price - what a find!

Cindy is an excellent host who came through for us at the last minute when it turned out the hotel we’d reserved nearby had overbooked. Our room was huge, spacious and most importantly…clean! The location is incredibly convenient for activities at Hunter. Breakfast was good—not exceptional, but very respectable nonetheless—and other staff we interacted with were really pleasant.

I strongly agree with the two recent reviews "Sad place ..." and "Overwhelmed" giving this B&B a 1 star "Terrible' rating. My wife and I went to check in for our $400 pre-paid two night stay, and we felt very uncomfortable with the owner and the house conditions. We decided not to check in, requested a refund (which the owner has refused), and left.

There were four of us and our poodle. We were billeted on the ground floor of the Chalet which suited our needs perfectly as we had an elderly with us. As we like to cook our own food and this was made possible with a kitchen with microwave and stove. The Bathroom was clean and the towels were crisp. I read that the facility has a keurig so I brought our favorite coffee pods. Theres a great place to walk the dog. The room also had sufficient lighting. There were plugs to accomodate our devices. And most importantly there is wifi. Strong wifi which is somewhat lacking in the catskills area. On our return to the Catskills, we will book again
