Reviewed By TriDmnThe owner and staff of this hotel have done everything to ensure a high quality, welcoming stay to all their guests. The hotel is full of charm with updated beautiful rooms. The breakfast dining room is full of beautiful place settings, fresh homemade food, and a fabulous hostess to take care of your needs. Bayeux is a very walkable town filled with great shops and restaurants. The cathedral and museums are well worth a visit. My daughter and I traveled around France and Italy over 10 days and this was one of our very favorite places we stayed. We hope to be able to come back someday.

Reviewed By Kenneth432We had a group of 8 couples, so we had the entire facility. Amazing grounds with really nicely maintained facilities. All of the rooms were great. We had the 2 bedroom apartment which is large, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was great, but what else would you expect in France. The staff was always helpful and friendly. Sucre, the manager, made arrangements for first class cooking classes, tours and transfers, whatever we needed. Nice fitness centre with spa facilities... great massages available. Beautiful indoor pool. Approximately 2 km walk to Honfluer where there are many restaurants and lots of shopping. If you want a first class peaceful, relaxing holiday, this is the place

Set in the historic centre of Caen, just off the Place St-Martin is this lovingly-restored mansion, dating from the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries.Sylvie and Jean Noel have used traditional materials in the restoration, which has revealed the stone and timber ceilings and the superb curved staircase leading to the guest rooms, or rather suites as they are so very large and so richly furnished and decorated.Delicious breakfasts with candle are served at small tables in the ground-floor dining room.
A Lovely Place to Stay and Great Location
Reviewed By FLBThis is a lovely bed and breakfast in a great part of town. Our green room was very large and comfortable. David, the owner, greeted us upon our arrival and helped us with our luggage to our room. Our room was very quiet even though there were four people staying in the room next door. Using the bathtub/shower was a bit of a challenge getting in and out because the tub has a very high side to it. The continental breakfast included juice, fresh fruit, yummy bread and pastry, cheeses and a hot beverage. It was perfect for us and the woman serving us was lovely. The big downside for us was when it was time for us to depart there was no one there to assist us with our luggage. We are seniors and were traveling with 3 pieces of luggage, each weighing about 30 pounds. The stairway is winding and hard to maneuver with the luggage. If we were still in our 20s and were just traveling with a backpack it would not have been a problem.

Complete confort: Bathrobe, hairdryer,very good mattresses, separate entrance and large living room for our guests with television, library and music. Breakfast is included in all prices.
An hidden gem
Reviewed By Martin PWe could only stay one night one the way from Calaise to Brittany, but what a find. The room was large with a big comfy bed. The bed our son had was not as comfy but was a pull out bed so to be expected. Lovely mist shower, and very quiet area. The breakfast was spectacular too. Then there are the hosts, Fabienne and Bruno. They are absolutely lovely. Nothing is too much trouble, they have a very gentle humour and went out of their way to make our stay fantastic. The hotel is a little out of the way, and if you want a quiet retreat it is perfect. If you want lots of shops and night life... Better off elsewhere. Overall a big 10/10. We will be back.

A wonderful place to stay in Honfleur
Reviewed By melisofNot only are the rooms beautifully decorated and comfortably appointed, the breakfast is delicious and generous. WE were a group of 10 and took over the whole house - a home away from home. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The garden is beautiful too. Centrally located on one of the main streets of Honfleur, you will be within walking distance of the major sights and many restaurants. Parking is across the street on the garden side. Definitely a top top address in Honfleur.

We have several rooms with Cathedral view and private balcony or terrace. Bayeux is a beautiful city a few miles to the d-day beaches (10 minutes). Staying at Bayeux is a good choise to be near all the most beautiful sights of Normandy: Mont Saint Michel, Honfleur, Saint Malo, Caen, Deauville, ... We are also at 2:30 hours to Paris. Bayeux is between Paris and Mont Saint Michel. We hope to see you soon at home... Elen & Christophe

Reviewed By martinsB3397PGGreat hotel in an excellent location to explore Bayeux from. The room we had was on the second floor at the rear with views across the car park towards the tapestry museum. Breakfast was excellent and the friendly service made us feel very much at home.

No responsable on site ,if you have any problems you have to speak via phone to a non client orientated person.if you go there enjoy it but keep in mind that it is just a business.to expensive for what it is. Honfleur is NOT easy to reach by feet..too dangerous.

The BEST small hotel! Loved it!
Reviewed By jannettb2017My 19 year old grandson and I stayed here for 2 nights in July, 2021. This is the sweetest little hotel! The proprietors have done an amazing job decorating and making their establishment cozy, welcoming and beautiful. The building dates from 1750 and was the village priest’s home. The village church and cemetery are across the street. The gardens are gorgeous! There is a lot of WWII memorabilia and decor in the rooms and common areas. Celine speaks enough English to give directions and restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. Her breakfasts were amazing! French toast, waffles, eggs, fresh fruit, breads, great coffee, fresh yogurt, etc! This location is very close to Omaha beach and the American cemetery. We had a car, which is almost essential to see the sights in this area, and we’re able to visit the nearby medieval town of Bayeux (highly recommended) and drive to Point du Hoc (another D Day invasion sight). We also learned that the little village of Formigny was the site of the last battle of the 100 Year War. There is a monument to this near the battle site. Our stay at La Ferme aux Chats and our 2 days in the area were definitely one of the highlights of our 2 weeks in France!

Lovely Room and Courtyard
Reviewed By travelbuddies39We stayed here for two nights in May and very much enjoyed it. The room was quite large. The breakfast was nice. Weather was a little cold and rainy so we weren't able to enjoy the beautiful courtyard very much. Easy walk to the centre of the town.
