Reviewed By TonyT1628Hotel still has a very new feel to it. The morning continental breakfast is OK, but could be better. Room was nice and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful when asked questions. The only small issue this place has is the cost of their rooms compared to other hotels in towns of similar size. Even though my company paid for the room, an average of $132 per night + tax four nights Monday to Friday is high.

Reviewed By Beverly LOur room was clean and comfortable. The room was dated and in need of an update. With Covid and the price of construction, wouldn't count on that happening anytime soon. The staff were friendly and helpful. We talked to Lori, who was very compassionate and helpful. The location is convenient to Discovery Park and Reelfoot Lake. A China Buffet, McDonald and Applebee's was next door. The China Buffet was very good. The price was reasonable. This a motel, not a hotel. I prefer staying in a hotel with entrance from the hall. When we arrived the outside lights weren't on, making it difficult to get into our room. Safety issue also. Lights were on when we returned from dinner. Something about difficulty resetting auto timer. Noise was an issue. A group of people seemed to be talking right outside our room. Husband had taken a sleep aide and I put in earplugs. Husband did wake up in early morning to noise and police siren. Staff had tried to quiet people down but police had to be called. No problems after they left. Not really management's fault. Breakfast was provided. Basic but good. Eggs with cheese, sausage links, toast, cereal, potatoes, milk, coffee and juice. Talked to another couple at breakfast who have been coming here for 12 years. They said their room was dirty with bugs. (here say, I know) They were given another room. There is an outside pool. Free WiFi. Iron and ironing board, hair dryer and toiletries provided.

Check in and out was quick and professional, they even called me on my arrival day to see what time I would arrive. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Reviewed By rindam2022This hotel was not newly built but was very clean in room and lobby. Nice quality bedding. Had been remodeled in recent years with nice marble-like sink counter, tile floor in bath. Mattress was firm which wasn’t good for us but was still a very nice quality mattress. Breakfast offered several choices of scrambled eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, sausage links, Belgian waffles and more. The two older ladies working the breakfast buffet were such a joy waiting on us and being very sweet and friendly. The check in staff was very friendly too. We so often are disappointed in our stays at various hotels. We were prepared to be disappointed in this one and were so very wrong in our expectations! We were in room 222.

Reviewed By Ashleyfuentes0113This was any average hotel you would stay in but the customer service and thought set it apart. A hand written note was given to us at check in. The staff was super friendly there was a dry erase board with all the information needed, and it was friendly and welcoming. There was a cabinet with everything from a crock pot, to dog bowls and games and that was for the taking “things we use at home” and complete with a small market place for snacks and meals. Without a doubt would stay again!

Reviewed By Chuck mVery nice suite that we had although somewhat small for a suite. As I said it is new and outside of check in everything was good. For the price I would of thought that you would not hear any outside noises but you heard doors opening and closing regularly.

Reviewed By beachump2010It use to be a Super 8, use to be. Cheapest rates in town is true. As seen in the photographs, the stairway is kind of dangerous with the trim laying on the steps. Best to just take a shower and not use the tub. Bring your own towels would help.

We are off US-51, three miles from downtown Union City and Discovery Park of America. There are several restaurants nearby and Obion County Fairgrounds are four miles away. Reelfoot National Wildlife Refuge and University of Tennessee at Martin are within 30 minutes. Relax next to the firepit or in the pool after a busy day.
