We have 12 rooms including two self contained 2 bedroom units. All rooms have queen size beds, microwave, toaster, flat screen TV with Austar, air conditioning and ceiling fans. Breakfast and dinner available served to your room, pets by arrangement, saltwater swimming pool and a BBQ area. Tea/coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron and ironing board are all standard inclusions.

Reviewed By JesieleeStayed here overnight while driving from Cairns to the Gold Coast with my dog. Neat and tidy room and very helpful at the front desk. Pending availability I will be staying here again on my return trip. Thanks for the hospitality!!!

Reviewed By Anne MPosition Plus ! This Hotel is beautifully position right on Sarina Beach ,amazing views , sound of the Ocean and Beach walk is a must . The hotel rooms are basic , the views make up for the lack of luxury . Beach front rooms are adequate size as is the bathroom , my only suggestion would be to update the beds ( sadly that takes money ) . The owners here are doing a great job . The Bar and restaurant fantastic , food and service could not be faulted . Thank you

Affordable beach front fully self contained units over looking Sarina Beach and Sarina inlet. Motel family rooms have large kitchens and private bedrooms. All units have a private balconies and water views. Motel has large pool and sundeck area. There is a large guest BBQ area and laundry facilities. Great place for the fishing enthusiast with a boat ramp just around the corner and lots of fish and big mud crabs to entice the keen angler. Sarina Beach is beautiful and pristine boasting tranquil breath taking views. Beach is patrolled by the Sarina Surf club which is situated across the road. Sarina Beach is a 30 minute drive from Mackay and well worth a visit. Sandpiper Motel is just the place to escape and unwind.

Disrespectful
Reviewed By 761felicityaRoom was beautiful and convenient to Sarina shops. But the owner would walk in a number of times without knocking which was disrespectful and highly inappropriate. Left early so I didn't have to deal with the constant intrusions.

9 fully self contained units with air-cons, microwaves, toaster, electric jug, fridge, digital television, DVD player, ceiling fan, very comfortable beds, lovely clean fresh inviting rooms, rural views, sea breezes, undercover parking as well as loads of off street parking for boats, trailers, trucks etc. We are PET FRIENDLY. Free breakfast included, lunches can be arranged and home cooked dinners provided upon request. We cater from single to large families. My husband and I are country born and raised and our aim is to make you feel at home with our friendly and country hospitality and very comfortable relaxing environment. Our motel is approx. halfway between Brisbane and Cairns, 2 - 2.5 hours north of Rockhampton and 1 hour drive south of Mackay. We are approx. 300 mtrs off the highway directly opposite the 24 hour Caltex Service Station along the Bruce Highway.

Reviewed By Robert VMy room was in the wing facing away from the Highway so was super quiet. Everything you could want for a quick stopover, clean and neat as a pin, just lovely. Food was available and the hosts tried their best to feed me but vegetarian was a bit out of their comfort zone....fair enough. Food available at roadhouse on other side of the Highway (when the cook is there....I was not so lucky so a can of baked beans was the go) If you need to be fed, talk to the hosts.....they are very friendly and accommodating.

We're open seven days. We have a choice of sixteen studio rooms and plenty of undercover parking, fully fenced salt water pool. We have an all day menu serving local produce in our meals, coffee and cold drinks in the restaurant from 7.30 am until 8.00pm Monday to Saturday and 7.30 am until 4.00 pm Sunday. Room service is also available for breakfast from 6.00am until 7.00am and dinner from 6.00pm until 8.00pm. Sarina Motor Inn's hosts, Graham and Glenys Mansfield will put out the welcome mat at Sarina Motor Inn. Sarina Motor Inn is centrally located right in the heart of Sarina and easy walking distance to tourism attractions, shopping centre and clubs.
Disappointed Travellers
Reviewed By BundyBoomersPre booked a family room for three adults for overnight stop. At $175 for the night, we were very disappointed with the facilities. The bar fridge was on a tilt with a full tray of water under the freezer, no cutlery for cereal (only few packets with wooden knife and fork), three mugs (one was cracked so hot coffee spilt over bench, luckily not on one of us), lighting behind the queen bed was almost non existent, fluro in 2nd bedroom took ages to get started, one broken shelf had been left at the bottom of bedroom cupboard and bathroom cupboard must have leaked at some time as there were several old stained paper packets on the bottom shelf General maintenance was sadly lacking. The owner wasn’t overly friendly or obliging when we asked about the room lighting and for another cup and spoons. Our saving grace was Tandara Hotel/Motel straight across the road. They served a fabulous meal and their staff were super friendly. We’re sorry we didn’t book in there to stay. Nicest staff
Reviewed By olmatejI was traveling through on my way to Townsville. I rang through and with no notice the girls put me up for the night in a villa. They made an exception for me and allowed me to park my boat on the grounds as well. I’ll definitely be back. It’s hard to get service like theirs in this day and age.
