Missing shade and personal touch
Reviewed By Niek BWe made a last minute reservation and arrived after a long, hot day drive. At check in we were give a tent spot, reserved for disabled person, across from the playground next to a bouncy castle. While we are not disabled and asked for a quite spot. It was mentioned that this was the only spot still available. When I returned to the check-in desk and expressed my dissatisfaction with the assigned sport and mentioned that when there is really nothing else, we would leave. We were all of a sudden given 4 different options to choose from, all in a much better area of the campground. Anyway, we found a spot that had a little bit of shade. Most others had no shade at all. Spots were on the small side but doable. Campground and toilet area were slightly dirty and the entire impression of the campground did not really give a sense of an ecological, nature orientated campground. The swimming pool is nice, but it also creates a lot of noise.

Delightful stay in Ornans
Reviewed By annmay2017I had booked a room, travelling alone. To my surprise I was given a complete attic apartment, with kitchen, two bedrooms (incompletely separated; this might matter to some), large living room/dining room, and three windows overlooking the long garden down to the river. I took advantage of the facilities and cooked meals and lounged in the sunny garden. Madame was very kind and accommodating. Ornans is a delightful, unspoilt town.

Reviewed By BlackberrykoJust an 8 minute walk form the town centre....warm welcome from the receptionist but be aware : I think she is only there from 15.00 - 18.00 ...do check when booking ...we only just made the time (by luck !). Didn't eat (breakfast). Rooms clean and funtional

Reviewed By leoncavallo1Stayed here for one night while driving to Italy. Very nice hotel situated in centre or Ornans, which is a very picturesque town dominated by high cliffs. Room very comfortable, on fourth floor with no lift so be prepared to climb some stairs. Excellent restaurant, steak with morille mushrooms was outstanding, also fresh trout available. Very good breakfast in morning, lovely flakey croissants. There is an internal courtyard for parking but this is very small, so if you want a space make sure that you request one when booking.

Reviewed By romank596Schöner Ort, hübsche Location, Vorsicht vor Vermietern (Kaution, unmögliches Benehmen), wir wurden regelmäßig von den Vermietern kontrolliert (unerwünschter Besuch in unserer Wohnung, WLAN funktionierte nur zu definierten Zeiten), Auto der Vermieter lautstark morgens gestartet, meine Söhne hatten den Eindruck, wir würden abgehört, Vermieter (Objektverwalter, Anwalt) bedrohte uns mit Klage (wohlweislich ohne ihr nachzukommen ), Vermieterin beleidigte uns ("Cassez-vous!", deutsch "Verpisst euch!"). Erfahrungen decken sich mit vielen Google Rezensionen
