Outdoors is beautiful, inside is unusual
Reviewed By tmaddalaWe are a family of four, two adults and two teens. The beds were uncomfortably hard and there is no air conditioning. It wasn't super hot outside so it was bearable. The paint is peeling off in various places and the bathrooms did not seem all that clean (some mold). On the plus side, the rooms are quiet and dark for sleeping. The grounds are absolutely spectacular and relaxing. The breakfast is also nice.

Great Hotel and staff
Reviewed By Y5593ETjondWe were really impressed. Our hostess was extremely helpful and lovely, The restaurant produced a fantastic meal. We had car issues and again our hostess did all she could to help. We had our dog with us who was made as welcome as we were. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Mouldy, dirty, smelly and refused to stay!
Reviewed By ericanddi16Arrived at site after a long journey from Scotland. Chalet was unsanitary. The bathroom was filthy, there was mould growing in the bathroom and kitchen and the whole Chalet stank. We refused to stay and returned the keys and sought accomodation in a hotel elsewhere. This accomodation was, in my view, a hazard to my health and i refused to stay. We were not given a refund by the campsite despite explaining.

Lovely, quiet spot; great location for exploring the region
Reviewed By Glu42Jean-Pierre and his wife were lovely hosts. Helpful with local information and ideas of places to see. The house has beautiful views over the Loire and was within walking distance of the village centre. Spacious room, good breakfast with homemade jams and delicious croissants. We were cycling for a week and J-P kindly organised bike hire for us in advance. Easy access to the Loire a velo route plus plenty of other sights nearby to see.
