Reviewed By ChristywaiNice view with best hospitality. The hotels staffs are very friendly and helpful. The first day at that city, we didn’t get a good hotel so we went to this hotel and checked. We scare all the hotel at this city are the same , surprisingly this hotel is totally different from the previous one. They offer us fire ? to BBQ some local food and we have a nice chat with the manager ( even we are not staying at their hotel ) Next day morning we check in at their hotel and they gave us a very good guideline about the tourist attraction at that places . We didn’t expect we can have such a fantastic days . Thank you so much to Pine Wood Villa team ! Photos are best prove !

Nice owner! Like a family.
Reviewed By Ba LI didn't stay there actually because the rooms were fully booked. The rest of our tour group (17 pax) stayed there (3 of us had to stay at Sky Palace Hotel up on the mountain). So this review is based on my experience while I was there at check in time and dinner time. Friendly owner (5 stars) Well... This mountain View Hill Resort is a lovely hotel with a very friendly owner lady. She welcomed us warmly when we arrived. Treated us some tea and pickled tea leaf salad before our group checking in (before I moved to the other hotel). She was sorry for not getting us one another room. Her hospitality was above and beyond. Food (4 stars) We had dinners for 2 nights there and the owner lady cooked the meals herself and the taste was amazing. She is a very good chef as well. Drinks (1 star) No bar. They have local wine and liquor, but I won't suggest it. If you wanna try, try the wine one glass. Electricity and cell phone coverage (5 stars) Can get 24/7 Accomodation (2 stars) I may be wrong because I didn't get a chance to stay there and this is based on what my tour group said. So I give overall 3 stars.

Disappointing experience

We booked a bungalow but when we arrived there the manager said the front desk lady mistaken our booking now they gave bungalow room to important guest. I don’t see any apology face or attitude from the manager .They said they will give us to a better room which have more beds. ( actually we don’t need more beds ) Early January is a peak season we can’t book other hotel at that time , so we stay there for a night . Please check the room photos, I don’t think it should be a resort’s standard. Very disappointing experience. By the way the view of the hotel is ok for us.

Reviewed By JackSantiago7764MMRI found out this hotel on Google. I stayed in a banglow which I felt like I didn’t get all facilities I should get. Locals said , this is one of the best hotels in Kanpetlet, maybe because they provide a great service. Staffs are very polite and they wear a beautiful and innocent smile. Let me say , I’m very satisfied with the services. About the foods, some local foods are very delicious and some other foods are terrible. Buffet breakfast quite ordinary or maybe we should say acceptable. Overall , I enjoyed the stay.

Fantastic Mountain View
Reviewed By John12312We stayed in this resort for 2 nights. We were given the lower semi-detached villa with fantastic mountain view. The room does not seem to be very clean. When we checked in we found some insects on the bed. The bathroom is basic with hot water. There were no air cond, wifi connectivity and TV. It does not seem necessary as the serene environment offers the best retreat from modern civilization. There were only a few guests during our stay. Breakfast is nice. Certainly a good place to rest if you are trekking to Mt Victoria.

Nice Hotel and Good Service
Reviewed By soemoeaWe stayed there on 31st January 2020 to 02 February 2020. We stayed two nights at Win Unity Hotel Natmataung Chin State, which is located at kanpetlet which is about 8,000 feet above sea level on the way to mount Victoria. They have two types, bungalows and building. Staffs were very friendly. Rooms were clean and quite big. Temperature was around 10' C so they gave us heater fan. Last year they didn't get electricity yet. But they got electricity now. First night we ate our dinner there. Foods were good and prices are reasonable. We tried dry wild ox salad (domesticated chin wild ox). The taste was good. Breakfast was OK.

Good Basic Guesthouse
Reviewed By LeLorenWe can't really compare it to other places in Hakha, but we were happy with our room at 15,000mmk for a double, especially as Centre hotel had just quoted us 40,000 to stay there. Rooms are basic, no heating, but big blankets so you will be warm enough at night. Walls are a little thin but we got to sleep fine. Our friend stayed at Shalom Guesthouse (10,000mmk for a single) and she was happy with that too. No breakfast included at either.
