This is a perfect spot for teaching your kids how to ski and the lodge makes it easy and comfortable for them. Keeping it fun at a young age is key to getting them to love the sport!!! I highly recommend this spot for beginners....

Hundfjallet

We were 6 people over New Years. 4 adults and 2 12yr old girls. Unfortunately there wasn't a whole lot of snow, and only 5 slopes open. Still a really good time. 2 of the adults were advanced skiers, so they didn't get to ski as pleased, but the rest of us did. Staff at the slopes are wery helpful and friendly! Very pricey restaurants in the area, as expected, but there's always the possibility to bring your own snack/food.
A big minus to Skistar for charging full price for skipass, though only a fraction of the slopes were accessible :-(
All in all, a family friendly place that accomodates most skiers skills.

My wife had an accident with her scooter on the way back. Our guide had no clue what to do and was only asking if she had a stroke. He brought her down on the back of his scooter with a speed of about 30-40 km. In the hospital it turned out that my wife had broken her upper arm. Holding on to a scooter with one arm and the pain of the broken arm is almost impossible but she had to

This was a wonderful tour ! We were very fortunate to be able to book a three hour lunch tour on relatively short notice after we had to abort a weeklong tour with another huskytour provider who was absolutely terrible in every way. Peak Points on the other hand is extremely professional. They have well-trained and well cared for dogs. Their staff as well as the owners are incredibly friendly, helpful and accomodating and you can tell that they enjoy what they do. The landscape the tour led through was beautiful, the lunch break was in a cozy little teepee with delicious soups (even with a vegetarian choice for me) and something to drink and the opportunity to warm up thanks to a small woodburning stove. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend booking a tour without any hesitation.

Klappen Ski Resort
