Reviewed By X6797FKmikekGreat staff, nice rooms, clean, but barking dogs.We first were assigned a room without working A/C, lady came up checked it out and moved us to a new room, couldn’t ask for better service, she even helped move our things. Slept well, until morning when we heard barking dogs, first one room, then another. We called, noise subsided, then came back, we packed and left. Would have been close to perfect for the price point! Talked to another couple in the parking lot who where moving to another hotel because of the barking dogs. Usually there’s many others that are annoyed beyond those that called the desk and complain, wonder how many others left or moved. Are we running dog hotels where people come in second?

It has gone downhill
Reviewed By Bill AWe have been staying here for years when we visit Wisconsin and it was great. Not this time as the new owners have been letting it go downhill. This happens when the new owners are foreign, I have seen this many times before. The place was not clean as it used to be and garbage was not picked up in the 5 nights we stayed. Had to go down for new towels? Breakfast was the same every day edable but thats it. The room was advertised with a microwave even looked under the bed but couldn't find one. Bottom line for the price and maybe one night it would work but not for a longer stay. We are not that picky but we will never come back here

Reviewed By Marcin BWe made the reservation for New Year for 2 days for our trip to Granite Peak. We chose this hotel because it is pet friendly and we were traveling with our feline and the other hotels we stayed at previousely does not allow pets. You can still see some renovation going on when you enter but it looked like they will be done soon. Thanks to front desk we could check in earlier than 3pm and once again many thanks for that :). We only switched king for two queens but it was not a problem for us. The room was great with all the amenities : fridge, coffee maker, microwave, clean and spacious. There are ice machines on every floor if you need them. We did not check the pool but it was pretty occupied with guests. There is also new restaurant at the hotel called Cedar Creek Grill. They offer breakfast and then open at 4pm for dinner. We had tried both options and they were really, really good. We stopped for late lunch after skiing and ordered some fish and drinks. Portions were big and the fish was absolutely fresh. We will definitely come back to this hotel if traveling with a pet. BTW the charge fee for a pet is only $35 per your whole stay.

The manager seemed to always do unnecessary things like tell me I can’t make my own bed an my key needs to be unlocked every day an telling me her personal life stories an asking me about my personal life (basically invading)! It seemed like a mom at a daughter she is living threw!, party as the staff! I never had lots of visitors! Same two visitors an one was my foster dad just just bringing in my food to the door! He came in maybe one time to fix my computer! It was weed smoke an cigarettes threw the entire place! I literally stayed in my room an recorded myself anytime I came out because I felt harassed! I had alot of luggage so I just figured I stay in the room an don’t say or do anything wrong! But yet still I was harassed an I spent over a thousand dollars stayin closed off! I cant blam the race card! It was many times she mentioned my weight! Thing is some people can be recovering from cancer or any health problems that are personal! So before u be mean to someone because of their appearance(don’t judge a book by the cover)! Because you can hurt someone that already has had enough! I highly recommend if u need just a couple days of rest that u do not stay here!

Good for a nights sleep
Reviewed By Mike6115Stayed overnight here with family of 4 after a long drive from Oshkosh. Was greeted by friendly front desk attendant who quickly checked us in to our room. The room was a spacious 2 queen bedroom. The only issue we had with the room was a noisy air conditioner. Other than that, the room was adequate and plowed for a decent nice sleep. Pool was closed, assuming for COVID. Coffee in the am was good, and front desk attendant very accommodating.

Reviewed By 791matttStaff is friendly. Water park is closed. Rooms are decent size we booked the most expensive room for our family of 6. Bathroom is not big enough to close the door while you’re in it. Bathtub was rusted out pretty bad. No breakfast, or food for that matter. (covid excuses for bad service) (every other restaurant is serving food) They did call in advance to let us know park was closed but we were on the plane. Rate should have been reduced. To bad, could be awesome
