Very Comfortable

Reviewed By HDStripad

Older style motel, uphill from the Murwillumbah town centre. Our room (queen and single bed) was spacious with pleasant leafy views. The upper floor, accessed by stairs, would have even better views. Our room had a table and chairs. The wardrobe and a bench with microwave, hospitality tray, small frig, plates and cutlery were in a separate room. Vanity/sink was external to the small bathroom, with shower over bath. The room had a door onto an elevated, shared front veranda and another to the barbecue area at the rear of the motel. The décor is dated but the beds were comfortable and everything was clean. It was quiet, aircon worked well and our sleep was undisturbed. There is limited undercover parking under the motel and a larger open parking area at the rear.

Stayed here for the 3 Night Package in the Old Dairy. Everything was fantastic & spotless. The Food & Service was unreal even though the Weather wasn't on our side. Our Son & Daughter In-law have booked to stay in the Long Cabin next Month. Haven't stopped raving about it to our friends. Can't wait to go back

Imperial Hotel

Surprisingly good!

Reviewed By dojo-ollie

Fantastic Value and a pleasant surprise. An immaculately clean room that looked as though it has been recently refurbished. We had a superior queen room that had a kitchenette and a sitting area. Meals in the bistro were good value with 15 meals at $15 and excellent quality. The bar staff were friendly and attentive. Good vibe for old and young, highly recommended and will stay next time we travel through Air conditioning in the room is ducted and no control for the room, so it was a bit stuffy. Booking in was a bit clumbsy and they kept us waiting for a while but the bar staff did make us comfortable. No powerpoints next to the bed so my husband couldn't use his CPAP machine. We did ask for an extension lead but wasn't available. Confusing access to the rooms but once we found our way, it was ok. Parking with a trailer wasn't possible and we had to park on the street with a 2 hr limit.

Fantastic internet speed.

Reviewed By 169TonyL

I stayed here for four nights and had to work 3 full days. By far the best internet speed I have had staying anywhere. Generally when I am on the road I give up on the hotel wifi and use my 4G , but no need to here. They had an in room router and even a Chromecast. The staff were great and the room very tidy. Thanks.

What a wast of space. Toilet block showers where joke in the camping area. In the mens shower the first shower had the shower rose broken and sitting on the shelf. The second and final shower did not work with the automatic timer. So no shower. Bought some firewood from the manager. The $15 bag of wood didnt even burn. I even had the compressor on it to no avail. We booked in for 2 nights stayed for 1 then left never again

But received absolutely wonderful help from Ali (?) in the above phone store - expert knowledge, lovely warm manner and problem solved. Murwillumbah is a great little town and this little store is just one example of this. Can also recommend the open air swimming pool and Thrifty Car Hire. Thank you everyone

Junkies / jailies and shifties stay there. They leave their dirty dishes in the kitchen sink. You have to pay 70 or 90 dollars a night to adjust around stupid aggro people like that! In the rooms, there isn't even a chair, a bin, of hangers in the closet. The doors of the closet don't even have handles on them. Then u have to be a an electrician to There's something really shonky going on in that place. Give it a miss!
