Each room is dedicated to a famous provencal painter:Edgar Melik and Toussaint d'Orcino. Here, you will enjoy the serenity, while being close to the moste beautiful touristic sites in the Luberon: la carrières de Roussillon, l'Abbaye de Sénanque, les Baux de Porvence, l'Isle sur Sorgue... We can lend you bikes to visit by yourself and admire the somptuoux landscapes tha the region has to offer. Atour hom, make the most of unique moments around the pool and in the pleasant garden. The house offers you a "Tabled'hôtes" that we created to be familial, by the fireside during the cold nights or in the pool house when spring and summer are coming. Generous breakfast with summery touches are available each moning, served in front of tour room when you desired, between 8h30 and 10h30. in the livengg rooms, lots of books will take you away to discover the painters taht give the house its charming and cosy atmosphere.
Good rest on a walking round trip, not quite as idyllic as we expected from other reviews.
Reviewed By azewoodAlthough the decoration is new, attractive and artful the overall effect is cramped. We were self catering and had expected more for the price (and had had MUCH better for less the previous days), the microwave and pots were in a dirty outside table area, in an unkempt garden. Bed was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was good. The coffee and tea corner were good, although the coffee machine was a bit tricky to use.

You can enjoy the compensating rest, sun kissed and rocked to sleep by the crickets singing, letting your dreams follow the wind.

Reviewed By Kirkcaldy67After a week’s intense touring, we needed a few fays to relax and unwind and we found it at Le Crillon Hotel in Murs. Murs is a small village set on a hill (as most of them seem to be in the Luberon!) a few miles from the hustle and bustle of Gordes and is a good base for some easy 15-20 minute drives to many of the Luberon villages. The hotel itself is very quaint, very Provencal, with a friendly and efficient staff who spoke English well. The rooms were nice with a modern bathroom and a lovely view of the countryside from the blue shuttered windows. There isn’t much choice for dinner in Murs, but with the new owner/chef Vincent Malbec in the kitchen, who needs it and boy can he cook! The hotel offers an excellent menu with a good fixed price dinner menu and reasonably priced wine and the deserts were delicious! The rest of the team that I met during our stay were Tim, Christelle and Maria, who along with Vincent made our stay a very pleasant and relaxing one. I would definitely return.

Reviewed By StuInSuttonWhat can I say beyond the title? Welcoming, well equipped, clean, lovely, worth staying at. This is our second visit here and will not be our last. Beautiful Gites in a wonderful setting. Owners who could not be more welcoming. Pool, small playground and space for the kids to run around. The location. Is beautiful, quiet and relaxed. It is a bit of a drive to get to anywhere but that is the trade off for the peace and quiet. As a valid point, we have been before, we have come back and we WILL be back again. I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Reviewed By andresonvilleThis a rare find never mind in France but just about anywhere. Owners are on site, hands on, meticulous ( as an example, they are careful not to make noise as they clear up the table around so you can carry on talking ). Decoration is smart, the garden magnificent for the area. Not to mention the food, homely tasty and fresh. The views from the eating terrace is great. Stay in the valley view rooms and surround yourself to peace and quiet. My idea of paradise. Only drawback if you cycle to and fro the mas, there is a 5k climb every time, so take your bike rack with you.

Lovely bed and breakfast
Reviewed By LoeszieI stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 nights in July 2017 as part of a trip through Southern France. Out of the 5 places we stayed at on our trip this one was by far the best value for money at 80 euros per night. The room, with private bathroom, was very comfortable and clean. The two rooms on the top floor of the barn shared a small kitchen (sufficient to make some sandwiches or a salad, although we didn't use it) and spacious living room, as well as a terrace. Breakfast was served in the conservatory of the main house, with a beautiful view over the garden and the surrounding hills. The breakfast was great, with bread, croissants, yoghurts and home made jam. The owners of La Guillone are lovely, they provided us with lots of information about the surrounding area, including restaurant recommendations and things to do. But they also give their guests the necessary space and privacy. The location on the road from Murs to Gordes is great. If you're looking for a place close to amenities this might not be the best place to stay, as Gordes is a 10 minute drive away. We did not mind this though, and enjoyed staying in a quiet area.
