Reviewed By LDG1111In the middle of national park. Nice nature, bycicling arround island and swimming in the channel between Great lake and open sea. We were in Sandra and Drazen Srsen apartments 10 days. Excelent hospitality, food and fish. We will visit Soline again

Reviewed By Whisper_of_the_rainMy friend and I spent a night in this Guest House (check-in on September 1). We were on a bicycle tour around Dubrovnik and stayed nearly every night at a new place. We had a wonderful time and were delighted with Croatian hospitality, until we arrived at this Guest House. To our surprise, we have received a very cold welcome from the host who was rude and mean to us. He met us at the habour which is only 200 meters away and instead of smiling or asking how are you, he looked at our luggage and angrily asked: "Do you expect me to carry all this luggage?". All our luggage is two trolley bags, one of which is cabin sized. And luggage transfer was one of the arrangements with the agency we booked our tour with. We are girls and had our bikes with us, so we could not to carry luggage and bikes at the same time. The host took one of the suitcases and disappeared for a quarter of an hour. We did not know back then that the Guest House was only 200 meters away (with no stairs on the way to it) and the host left our luggage on the road (yeah, why bother, if it is not yours). When the host got back to us, he was even more irritated, and refused to help us with the second suitcase, unless we begged him to do so. And he just left, refusing even to give us directions as how to arrive to the Guest house. "Look for them on the internet", he answered and went to talk to someone in the street. Is this really the way one should treat his guests? When, loaded with bikes and the second suitcase, we finally arrived at the Guest house, the host has got somehow less angry (was he satisfied?) and carried one of the bags upstairs. We would have preferred him not to, because, as a result, the handle of the suitcase got broken. It can happen if you are careless and use it to lift the suitcase. Owner or employee, it is really a shame that a guy like this works in hospitality industry and offers such service. About the room itself. We had an attic room which was offered to us as a twin room. But the room actually had a double bed (which is ok, but not suitable for grown-ups who are just friends) and a small bed (which was so narrow that even a slim girl like my friend was not able to turn without lifting herself, otherwise she would fall). The kitchen had no windows, so no natural light or fresh air. Other than that, the room was acceptable.

Reviewed By Vacationer462695this is a very small village with people who care about their guests. It is like visiting relatives... Tonka is a very nice host. Her husband Mario prepared different types of fresh fish (which have been cought on the same day). We are very grateful for having us. Thank you very much. Reviewed By mlc262018L'endroit est sublime, unique, merveilleux. Les hôtes sont très sympathiques et on avait la clim. Mais il faut payer en espèce, avec un cours de retraits des distributeurs pas vraiment favorable, filet intermittent de wi-fi, escalier de 50 cm de large, fumée du grill qui interdit l'usage de la terrasse, douche sans support pour savon ou pomme (cassé) matelas antédiluvien à ressorts grinçants, jardin à l'abandon sous les fenêtres où fleurit à foison l'armoise, cuisine approximative, pas de support de filtre à café, ni tire-bouchon, ni râpe à fromage, ni économe, vaisselle dépareillée. Pas de changement de serviette pendant une semaine, pas de ménage dans les escaliers raides. zéro étoile. Les propriétaires devraient voyager pour comparer ce qui est offert à ce prix ailleurs.
