Reviewed By markhL482BTThis hotel is just sad…. Remote controls don’t work, bathrooms are stark , awful. Television randomly goes out. And yet it’s just as expensive as the Hampton inn, Just down the block. I have stayed at worse hospitals But never asked to pay same price as MUCH better hotels.

We are approximately 35 miles from the Greenville, Mississippi airport, 2 miles from Delta State University and right across the street from Wal-Mart. Our Hampton Inn guests can dine at KC's (4 star restaurant), Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant, The Tin Roof and Merigold Mississippi's famous ''Crawdads Cajun Steak and Seafood Restaurant'', as well as many convenient fast food restaurants located on Highway 61. The Hampton Inn Cleveland hotel features 57 rooms, executive suites, with all king rooms equipped with a wet bar. Whether traveling to Mississippi on business or pleasure, Hampton Inn Cleveland hotel guests enjoy amenities which include a complimentary hot breakfast, an outdoor pool, off-site exercise gym and wireless high-speed internet.

Reviewed By davidsC8699LIStayed in Room 104. Discovered bed bug on my person at approx. 11:30 pm. Staff was incredulous until I showed them the actual bug. Was moved to a different room but received no other assistance or compensation. The rest of the stay was unremarkable except that the TV had a white spot on the screen (indicating that it was burning out) and the remote was held together with tape. Also noted that the faucet for the shower/tub would come out of the wall, making the blue water line visible.

Reviewed By MargaretM192Overall we enjoyed our stay here, but one or two issues meant I haven’t given it 5 stars. Our room was a king suite on the second floor and it was massive with two rooms. The living room also had a table and chairs and kitchen area. The bed was also very comfortable. However, I feel I should mention that this room, 203, is an accessible room (not required by us), and as a result the bathroom floor flooded when we used the shower! I ended up using several towels to dry the floor and left them like a dam for the second day….it worked! Secondly, the living room had a Venetian blind which was only half way down, and as there was no cord to drop it further, we felt we had no privacy. Finally, although the food in the main restaurant was okay, there didn’t seem to be anyone in charge, so the staff seemed to be doing their own thing. This was also an issue at breakfast, as no one seemed to be checking on the food situation, and as a result, this morning the fruit platter was empty, and we were told they didn’t have anymore! This should never happen in any hotel….surely it’s not too difficult to keep a stock of melons, strawberries, grapes etc. Eventually one of the chefs brought out some bananas and three oranges! Apart from these issues I would still recommend the Cotton House for a visit, as it’s location is excellent and there is plenty of guest parking at the rear.

Reviewed By O5369ERbrandonlThe rooms were dirty they had hair all over bathroom floor dirty sheets on bed and no good employee interaction. I asked for clean sheets and the front desk would not bring me any. Then the manager they have wasn't friendly did not greet us when we walked through the door. I highly wouldn't recommend here to stay.

Reviewed By cindyh81Welcomed nicely after transfering from an unacceptable hotel in Choice Hotels chain. Given lower rate of vacated reservation Even given a goody bag. Hotel was clean, comfortable and attractive. Felt safe with interior halkways.I would definitely stay again.

Budget hotel - not worth the price.
Reviewed By cindyh81Unfortunately old and rundown. Electrical plugs are too loose to plug in and hold phone charger. Lamps do not work. Hole in bathroom sheetrock. Checked out when heater would not work and repairman unavailable. At least they fully refunded my card and helped to reserve a room at another nearby hotel.
