Cal Manel is a sustainable youth hostel at the foot of Pedraforca in the Natural Park of the Cadi-Moixero. Opened in 2016, it offers single and shared rooms. Designed for mountaineers, ramblers and cyclists. That's why it has a bicycle and backpack storage facilities. It is a space of family life. In Can Manel pets are accepted.
Awesome hostel, great service
Reviewed By Fernando HPerfect base to explore pedraforca area. Facilities are the best I've ever seen in a mountain refuge. The host, Toni, went the extra mile to meet our needs (and we are picky!) If you are in a small group ask about the private rooms, good deal. Next time we are in the area we are going back for sure!

Very outdated, smelly and dirty sheets
Reviewed By Michaela CWe checked into a room with twin beds that were both covered in small black hairs, probably from a dog. The inside sheets also had hairs. We told the owner and he put us into another hotel about 100 metres away. The room stank and the mattress was so uncomfortable and not flat at all so it felt like we were going to fall out of bed. Very ugly decoration and the owner wasn’t exactly pleasant.

Un vrai refuge, accessible en voiture, au pied du massif de la Pedraforca
Reviewed By EricD34Accueil détendu et sympa de Jordi, grand alpiniste dont les nombreuses photos décorent les murs de ce petit refuge confortable: petites chambres, cuisine équipée, vue superbe... Tarifs doux, un camp de base parfait pour explorer à pied, en vélo ou en escalade, les nombreux sommets alentour.

Unos sinvergüenzas
Reviewed By olialex89Son unos miserias, cobran 0.50 por ir al baño, 2e por cargar el móvil y solamente hacen cena si pagas la media pensión, si no, esta completo el turno de cenas, y la acampada dicen que está prohibida a no ser que les pagues la media pensión que entonces no hay problema, vaya unos sinvergüenza. En la montaña es una excepción encontrarte con gente así, y una lástima, así que mejor evitarlo totalmente.
