Gaslight Bed & Breakfast

Situated on a hilltop site in the historic Gaslight District of Clifton, the Gaslight B & B offers plush hospitality with quick access to the University of Cincinnati and downtown Cincinnati areas. This elegant 4 story home welcomes you with waving willow branches and a soft, bubbling waterfall, giving you feelings of leisure and coziness. These exterior delights are only a preview of the luxury and hospitality to come. Built in 1909, the house suffered extensive damage in a terrible fire on New Year's Eve 1998. Lovingly restored by owners Scott and Maria Crawford, the house offers all of the modern conveniences a busy traveler needs, yet retains the charm of the original stained glass windows and hardwood floors throughout. The original house boasted an in-law suite at the front second floor of the house. In the renovation, the "in-law" entrance was preserved for use as a separate entrance for guests. We hope you arrive as guests, but leave as friends.

Great B&B with delish food!

Reviewed By TallyLassie100

This B and B was lovely and the hosts were terrific. The bedroom was very comfortable and well decorated and there were lounges on each floor where you could relax. The breakfasts were as good as anywhere- especially the blueberry and lemon curd pastry- that was one of our best meals we had on a 3-week trip!

Anniversary getaway

Reviewed By PL2004

My wife & I decided to try this B&B just outside of Cincinnati to celebrate our anniversary. We were not disappointed. Established in 1830, Historic Willis Graves sits on the NW edge of Burlington, a charming northern Kentucky village (technically it’s a CDP, but seemed more like a village to us). The parking area is conveniently located near the entrance to the Mr. & Mrs. Graves Suite, where we stayed. The room itself oozed charm & history, but with modern amenities. We especially liked the ‘perfect’ shower & comfy king sized bed. Cable tv, Wi-Fi, microwave, mini fridge & coffee maker were also included. Although the grass needed cut, the grounds overall were well kept & there is a neat fire pit area in the rear of the property for relaxing after a day of hiking or biking at several of the nearby parks. There is a bike trail bounding the front of the property that connects to a nearby park. The made-to-order, Southern-style breakfasts were amazing! There were several options to choose from, including a delicious mixed berry & granola vanilla yogurt parfait, eggs any way you like them, pancakes w/sliced strawberries, breakfast sandwich & quiche, cheese grits, thick cut bacon, sausage, smoked ham, English muffins, etc. Jennifer was very accommodating if we wanted to change anything or needed anything additional for our stay. We highly recommend Willis Graves for your next B&B getaway!

Wonderful Surprise in OTR

Reviewed By Phoebe H

We loved this hotel! All the rooms decorated after composers made it quite interesting. Our room did have an ensuite bath (which I had made sure of) and everything was tastefully appointed. It was very quiet, hostess was so helpful, and having safe secure parking (included in the price) was wonderful! Had not seen a garage with crystal chandeliers before! We had both the weekday and weekend breakfast altho we had to leave early on a Saturday. We found the bed quite comfortable and would definitely stay again. We heard some of the jazz but were unable to eat there as we were meeting up with family.

True Hospitality and Kindness at Six Acres BnB

We were blown away by the hospitality and kindness we received at Six Acres. Our host was a wealth of information about the local area and had so many tips to enjoy Cincinnati. It seems the building is aging as one would expect of a house of this age. I hope more folks find this hidden gem and keep it shining!

Zoo trip

Reviewed By Meganj52

Chose this hotel for the proximity to the zoo. Check in staff was nice. Hotel appeared clean. My children were very disappointed the pool was out of service due to some chemical imbalance problem. One of the main reasons we stayed here was the use of an indoor pool. The staff couldn’t tell me if the pool would be useable for the rest of my stay. We had a nice stay except for the disappointment of the pool.

We are local to Cincinnati area but wanted somewhere special for our 10 year Anniversary! Boy did we find it. Even in the winter of mid February this place is beautiful. Our room was the Dream Suite and it was perfect! The color of the room is my favorite color, the spa tub, the extra touches abound. They have thought of everything. I wanted to stay longer. Breakfast is just gobble up delicious. Thank you for a special Anniversary.

Stayed here years ago and am shocked that what people are complaining about is very much what my party experienced during our stay. Bad service, no return phone calls, number of towels didn't match people booked, breakfast didn't match people booked, dirty and when I discussed booking the room with a fireplace on the phone they told me it would be more and I agreed to it. When I arrived a week later they told me the fireplace hadn't worked in over a month. And I could have my pic of all the other rooms because they were all empty. But we couldn't do that either b/c we needed 2 bedrooms. The owner failed at the restaurant she had across the street, she just sat at the bar and talked to the bartenders all night and didn't greet a soul and she's failed with this too. She's a rich lumber heiress from Cali, not sure why she never shows interest in her businesses. Why bother? What I find most humorous is the min 3 night stay. Look at the website, everything is available. They hardly have any bookings. How does this even make sense. They turn away a 1 or 2 night stay because of their policy and don't make any money at all. Brilliant! lol All I have to say is I've lived in Glendale over half my life and it would be wonderful if someone bought this little gem and cleaned it up.
