Abkhazia (Abkhazian: Аҧсны́ Apsny [apʰsˈnɨ]; Georgian: აფხაზეთი Apkhazeti [ɑpʰxɑzɛtʰi]; Russian: Абха́зия, tr. Abkhа́ziya, IPA: [ɐpˈxazʲɪjə]) is a disputed territory on the eastern coast of the Black Sea, south of the Greater Caucasus mountains, in northwestern Georgia.
