Our cosy holiday place is situated in true country on beautiful lake shore, in Luukonniemi, in village of Raanujarvi, in Ylitornio (45 min from the town of Rovaniemi). Forests invite you to pick berries, hunt and fish. Wintry landscape tempts you to ski, sledge or otherwise take outdoor exercises. For your accommodation You can choose either 2-4 person's Rantamokki, 10-person Luukonpirtti or one of the 8 person-chalets Naava, Pihka or Reiki. All of the cabins are in the lake shore and equipped up to date. Cabins are clean and well maintained, as we take care of the final cleaning by ourself. There are electricity, electricity heating, cold and warm drinkable water in all of the cabins. Each cabin has a possibility for finnish sauna warmed by fire wood. Wi-fi Access! Prices include bed linen, towels, fire wood and final cleaning. Also you have rowing boat with life jackets and fishing equipment in your use. In the winter you will find snow shoes and kick sleds from the storage and there is a barbeque place to make a fire outdoors, throughout the year.

Reviewed By LikwydsThis was our second visit Napapiirin Jarvilomat. We loved it just as much as we did the first time. We are a family that does not like crowds, so the isolation suits us very well. Paula was amazing. Whatever we needed, she was always available to help us. She even arranged for us to feed the reindeer on the property. For some people it’s Disney, for me, Napapiirin Jarvilomat is really my happiest place on earth.

Lomamökkimme sijaitsevat Oriveden rannalla erillään toisistaan ja jokaisella on oma piha, ranta ja vene. Ympäristömme on rehevää lehtometsää ja ympäröivä Orivesi mahdollistaa monenlaisia järviaktiviteetteja. Ympäröivä vesistö tarjoaa erityisen hyvät mahdollisuudet kalastukseen ympäri vuoden. Majoitustoimintaa olemme harjoittaneet jo yli 40 vuotta kehittäen samalla palveluitamme. Majoituspalvelumme soveltuvat niin yksityisille- kuin yritysasiakkaille. Asiakkaamme saavat yksilöllistä palvelua itse yrittäjäperheeltä. Ryhmille tarjoamme erilaisia palveluja sopimuksen mukaan.

Reviewed By 187duncI was lucky enough to have a chalet to myself. So you have a good sized kitchen and living room area and then upstairs the bedroom. I enjoyed my one night as the views down by the lake were lovely and how much space i had to run around. The only negative would be that there was no offer of breakfast. But apart from that it's a great little place to stay.

Quick stop before heading to hiking trails
Reviewed By artemis988Felt a bit cheated. We phoned in advance and the owner told me that price is 105 € for the night. When we arrived there was no sheets on the beds, as we asked for them he charged extra 30 € for couple of sheets saying that most finns have their own sheets with them (which is not the case at all, and is a bit silly thing to say). The bed was more like couch than bed, which was also bit of a disappointment.

Perfect place to enjoy nature.
Reviewed By ratsureimaBooked one of the cabins for one night. The cabin was fully renovated with a nice sea theme, was spacious and even had it’s own sauna in it! The yard was big and had a grilling opportunity. But the best thing in this place, was the own dock they had and the opportunity to dip into lake Saimaa whenever you please! I also figured out that the rowing boats are free to use during your stay and that there is another public sauna in the island plus a public beach. Also when we visited this place, there was a flock of lambs that you were able to go see. I highly reccomend this place if you are a nature person, the place is really silent and you can just lay back and listen to the sounds of birds singing.

Reviewed By Yuliya GПриезжали на выставку собак , жили в этом отеле , место супер , вокруг лес , черника , лошадки . Номера чистые , все необходимое есть , кухня оборудована полностью . Были небольшие проблемы при заезде , но букинг быстро разобрался . Очень всем советую !

Reviewed By Roderick19922Perfect place to stay while visiting Rovaniemi. Very few minutes away from city centre and santa village and park. Top price and the cottage is nice and cosy, strong wifi and hot water ! The staff were super helpful especially Paula . Will definitely visit agian.

Vierasvenesatama toimii aina
Reviewed By eevaa2014Varasimme etukäteen venepaikan Vuorilahden (Tynkkylän Lomaniemi) vierasvenesatamasta, koska veneemme on suurikokoinen ja matkassa vieraina 2 pariskuntaa, joille halusimme näyttää Saimaan parhaita elämyksiä. Saapuessamme paikka odotti selkeästi laiturissa ja isäntä itse opasti meitä rantaan. Olimme varanneet satamasta etukäteen saunan, jonka lämmitimme ja nautimme löylyistä. Venesataman palvelut olivat kattavat: sähkö, roskapiste, useita erilaisia vessoja/huusseja, kaksi saunaa, hyvä hiekkaranta, useita laitureita isoillekin veneille. Ylempänä 100m kävelyn päässä tilan päärakennuksessa on kahvila, vesipiste, käsityöpuoti ja maatilamuseo. Ostimme aamulla vielä tuoreen leivän ja pullat mukaan venematkaan. Vuorilahti eli Tynkkylän Lomaniemen vierasvenesatama on hyvän palvelun satama, jonne yleensä mahtuu myöhäänkin sisään riittävän syvään veteen ja saa hoidettua veneilyn perustäydennykset.

Scary hostel with "exotic" staff.
Reviewed By 831anssikOutside of hotel looks like scary film decoration. Gasthaus as it is. Simple interiors, plastic flours, office style ceilings. Can be suitable for sleeping in business trip. Was not nice at all to see girl from adult sites as staff (specially in this times when hygiene is so important).

Our cottages are of high standard and it is possible to live in them throughout the year. The cottages are situated in Iitti, southern Finland, approximately a hundred miles from the capital, Helsinki, and about 30 miles from the city of Lahti and 25 miles from the town of Kouvola. We also provide guided tours for fishing and hiking as well as conference services, including various activities. You are most welcome to experience our luxurious cottages and the breathtaking scenery in Iitti, Finland.
Wonderful surroundings
Reviewed By Victoria900Enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights walking and driving around the cottages, woods, enjoying our trek and sitting at the frozen river about 100 meters in front of the accommodation. There was sauna facility available too. It took us about 2 hours drive from Helsinki city centre. We stayed in a studio with a kitchenette in it, and without an oven as we didn’t ask for one. The room was clean and with a nice view from the window. We cooked most of our meals in there as no there was eatery close by unless you order in advance with the resort or drive about 30 minutes to the nearest mall. There was a heater in the room too. The WiFi connection was strong throughout our stay. As it was a low season, we were the only guests around. The surrounding was serene and quiet and we would want to return at a different season, staying at one of the cottages right by the river with the resort.
