Vey nice hotel

Very nice hotel, and better than most. Room was clean, everything worked, even the wifi worked but was slow. The breakfast was good, but not super, but still very nice. Staff was friendly and location is great, right across from the main attraction of the town. Restaurant food was good. Room was small but comfortable

Not overly impressed

Reviewed By ettyspagetti

Receptionist was very welcoming and helpful. Checked into room 3. View awful into roof and buildings. Room clean but small. Bed comfortable. Bathroom small little shelf space. Tea making was awful as cups provided were cardboard/plastic beakers - really, come on. Bathroom door closed by itself and locked!! Luckily we were on bedroom side. Car parking free but limited. Room was clean and bed comfy. Pillows were not so. Breakfast is extra €10 and was ok but basic and self serve. We didn't have time to use pool and didnt have items provided in our room. Used bar. Restaurant looked good value but house wine was expensive for what it was disappointed overall.

Very good Jura accommodation with very friendly hosts

We stayed for three nights in April and had a great stay - this B&B is set in a beautiful rural location, but still very close to Arbois. It is excellent value. We stayed in two different rooms and both were good, the second room on the lower floor has been renovated to a much newer/higher standard than the first room we had on the top floor. The rooms were well appointed with blankets, hairdryer and basic toiletries etc. The breakfasts were very good as well (one day we even had eggs cooked to order, on the other days the breakfast was a good continental). There is also a very well set up kitchen/dining room area that the guests share and there is free onsite parking. The dinners put on by the owners for the guests are really great too - all local products (most home made) and really good food (and very well priced!). Owners do not speak English, but are very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

TROP CHER POUR LA QUALITE

Reviewed By JEAN LOUIS D

Nous souhaitions visiter en vélo la région de Salins les Bains, dans un environnement atypique. Nous avons choisi le fort Vauban pour 4 nuits au prix de 293.40 € (avec réduction de 15%) Le gîte est propre, anciennes cellules sont bien rénovées. Mais malheureusement nous découvrons le soir, non pas un matelas, mais une paillasse avec des creux et bosses, nous retournons le matelas et constatons que celui-ci est moisi. Le lendemain, nous alertons le secrétariat, devant aucune proposition nous décidons de partir. On nous promet un remboursement de 2 nuits, nous recevons par courrier la somme de 106 €, accompagnée d'un mot du directeur " ....vous auriez du nous informer de votre demande spécifique et nous vous aurions orientés vers des lieux mieux adaptés....", cet hébergeur ne manque pas d'humour. Le vacancier doit signaler à l'hébergeur qu'il souhaite être bien couché dans un lit non moisi. Coût pour une nuit 191.40 € C'EST DU VOL;
