Friendly quite hostel.
Reviewed By bookwifeyWe stayed here on a Saturday night after a long walk along the lake and were very pleased. The hostel is in a quiet area but only about 5 to 10 minutes walk from the lake front. Our double room was spacious and very clean. We had a nice breakfast with fresh bread that was still warm. I can only recommend this place.

Nice waterfront location, but way below expectations
Reviewed By vesalianBeautiful location - on the lake of Constance (Bodensee), walking distance from railway station of Romanshorn. Facility totally outdated with remnants of the late 70ies. Harsh front desk staff (she kept on talking to somebody else in front of us). We were a family with two kids (@12 & 11yrs) and were given a room on the 3rd floor with a small balcony and superb view of the lake. The place where they had us put our bicycles overnight was a total mess and a disgrace that it is used for guest purposes (hopefully the kitchen looks better). Our guest room was clean, but super tiny for the four of us and there was no A/C to cool it down. Restaurant with a deck was nice for dinner, and food was OK. Smoking people all over outside - sorry, there is no non-smoking zone. Breakfast buffet mediocre at most. 1 room for 4 including breakfast priced @ 350 swiss francs.

Reviewed By Igor BВероятно это самый романтичный отель этого города. Находящийся в старинном замковом здании, он расположен у старой кирхи и прекрасного парка. Из окон его номеров открывается прекрасный на Бодензее. В отеле свой ресторан. А рядом собственный виноградник. Рядом, на набережной можно найти десяток кафе и ресторанчиков.

Idealer Zwischenstopp für die Radtour
Reviewed By Allgaeuerin74Der Gasthof liegt am Bodenseeradweg. Ideal für den Zwischenstopp. Das Zimmer und das Gemeinschaftsbad war sehr sauber. Die Gastwirtin sehr aufmerksam und nett. Das Frühstück wurde im freien serviert und war lecker. Zimmer gehen Richtung Straße ( sehr laut) oder in den Innenhof.
