Applebee's shares a parking lot with our hotel and within one mile you can dine at The Boston Beanery, Puglionis, Pargos and as many as twenty other restaurants. Fine dining and evening entertainment is just minutes away. The Hampton Inn Morgantown hotel features 107 rooms, including an executive suite, business center with high-speed internet access, wireless internet access in public areas, same day laundry service, connecting rooms, cribs and high chairs.

Reviewed By tylersQ3676RNI booked this room strictly due to it's proximity to WVU's health and science campus but it was not worth it. They have constant construction noise from 8am -6pm. It was so noisy I was unable to sleep in and reading or even talking on my phone to my family was a struggle. I however didn't realize it was undergoing construction when I booked my stay. On top of the construction noise my sink did not drain and the room did not include a mini fridge. The icing on the cake was when a worker barged into my room at 9 am without knocking while I had the do not disturb sign on the door. Checkout was not until noon and I was not even dressed. It was one of the most humiliating moments I have ever experienced at a hotel.

Overpriced, no maid service for four night stay, hot water and A.C. issues, but nice staff.
Reviewed By jeanierp110We stayed for four nights during WVU graduation week, and the prices were so high ($1600 for our four night stay) that we only got one room for three adults. There was no maid service during our stay and I had to chase down the maid cart each day to get fresh towels and to replenish the toilet paper and soap. (I don't mind using a towel more than once but there were no racks to dry them.)There was no air-conditioning the first night (repaired the next day) and no hot water the second morning (fixed at 10 AM). There were long-term cleaning issues and it was apparent that they were short-staffed. I can see that this could be a great place to stay if they were fully staffed and upgraded the air-conditioning and hot water systems. We liked the two-room suite concept - although we had planned on the three of us sleeping in one room (2 queen sized beds) our son snored so loudly that we banished him to the pull-out sofa in the other room. Pull-out mattress had a burn hole in the top and the sheets were stained but clean, and there was no mattress pad.Photo is of the debris behind the bedside table - it took us two days to get a staff member (front desk, I think) to remove the discarded face mask - they left the kleenex pieces and the juice box straw covers in place and they are probably still there. Through all this the staff was nice and polite although not helpful. I did ask for maid service each day - we were out of the room for most of each day - and was told that they would try.. The manager graciously gave us a credit of about 1/3 of the cost at check-out, thus prompting my "average" review instead of a "poor" review.

Reviewed By valihugsWonderful, friendly service. The Deluxe King room was absolutely spectacular. Spacious and beautifully appointed, complete with retro fridge and great tile. The towels were luxurious and the bed comfortable. Most of all though the Staff were very helpful. We were traveling in a cargo van and they made certain we knew where to park where it would be safe and easy to access. The bar staff were efficient even after the long rush of a wedding. Very well done!

Great Hotel even though it's waiting for an update
Reviewed By perrxWe arranged for a late checkin last Thursday. We were warmly greeted by Jessie, efficiently checked in, and offered a snack or ice cream. Our room was clean, & everything worked. Bed was very comfortable. Off the highway so not as noisy. Definitely will try to stay here again.

Reviewed By happytotakefromyouHotel looks nothing like the picture. I passed the entrance 4 times before I found it. I found numerous air fresheners scattered throughout the hotel. What are they covering up? No housekeeping after 5:00 pm. I was charged 197.10 for one weekday night, not worth 100. very disappointed. Bathroom was clean, but not in the corners. I had to listen to water running all night, it would stop for maybe 5-10 min then start again, I couldn't hear the tv, I wasn't about to turn it up so I could hear and have my neighbor complain.
