We stayed at this newly-refurbished property for 4 nights in June 2014. We chose it for its central location, close to the places we wanted to see in Provence: Pont du Gard, Uzes, Arles, Baux de Provence and St Remy de Provence. Our double room was super-comfortable: very clean, quiet (thanks to double-paned door and windows), spacious, stylish. The air-conditioning was quiet. The large bathroom had a modern shower and plenty of storage space to avoid clutter. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and served at table: excellent coffee; fresh croissants, pain au chocolat and baguette from the local bakery; fruit salad; yogurt; orange juice; a choice of cereals and jams. The owners can also prepare dinner; one evening my husband only wanted a salad, and he said it was the best salade nicoise of the trip! Michel and Patricia are very warm and generous hosts. After our first night, I asked Patricia if she might have smaller, flatter pillows that would be more suitable for me. When we returned at the end of the day, the bed had been made with 3 sizes of pillows....and one was exactly what I needed! Michel helped us plan our day’s itinerary at breakfast, suggesting smaller, picturesque roads to get to our destination that neither Google Maps nor GPS showed. All in all, I would happily return to this well-maintained hotel and its wonderful hosts. Plus, what you get is a truly good value for Provence.

Despite getting lost and an unfortunate start to our 2 night visit we thoroughly enjoyed staying at Le Mas. Our communal dinner was a superb delight, our room was comfortable, clean and lacked for nothing and we would strongly recommend this place for those wishing to explore Nimes and the Pont du Gard area.

Au Mas de Marie is the perfect "off-the-beaten-track" gem. Located in a quiet village, this beautifully restored farmhouse is the perfect combination of modern conveniences and old-world charm. Marie is a gracious and most welcoming hostess who prepares a delicious homemade breakfast each day with all organic ingredients. She offers great suggestions as to nearby cities/sites to visit as well as local restaurants. This is a perfect location for day trips to Pont du Gard, Arles, Avignon, etc. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here!
