Great Value Motel
Reviewed By S6490QYannajFor the price you can’t beat it! This is an older single story motel with all rooms opening to the outside. No breakfast is provided, but it did appear they have coffee in the morning. Front desk and housekeeping staff were very friendly! *Note* Housekeeping begins their rounds early (8am)! My room was huge, even with a king bed. You could easily fit a Queen blow up mattress on the floor. The room was clean but could use some detail/deep cleaning in the harder to clean areas. The bed was mediocre in comfort - not as hard as the floor but by no means soft either. The king mattress was too large for the base so it hung over one side a bit and made it so you couldn’t really sleep on the edge of that side of the bed. The pillows were flat & lumpy. However, I slept great all 4 nights. Cable tv is provided. The shower is great - spacious with super hot water very quickly. The shampoo & lotion smell good. The entire flooring in the room is tile. The desk chair was surprisingly comfortable! I’d buy one for home if I knew where they got it. The mini fridge worked very well! My small bottle of water froze just a little bit. A microwave is provided in the room too. It’s a quiet area (unless a diesel vehicle is parked nearby & starts up before you are awake). Race Trac is within walking distance for snacks, lunch, & ice cream. I’d stay here again. As the title states, it’s a great value for the area. If you are “picky” or expect perfection, this is not the motel for you.

Reviewed By Yazheng1I would love to give the resort more stars but the experience want great. The resort is not gated which which we thought it would be. The house itself was not clean and it was dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The furniture wasn’t the newest and some drawers wouldn’t even open. We did enjoy the water park though!

Very nice historic motel
Reviewed By 909toddsLet's see, it is definitely not a Holiday Inn or Hampton Inn, which you will see when you first enter. The room I got in had some visual flaws, it had a scent which I could not pinpoint, there was rust on the door to the bathroom, the faucets were corroded but usable, part of the walls looked warped as if there was water (or humidity) damage. That's really it. If you're a snob and you dislike the looks of this place, go north to I-4 and stay at the Holiday Inn Express and pay a lot more! On the other hand, it does what it needs to do. The bed is comfy, they have Wi-Fi (decent) and a flat-screen TV, there is a restaurant ("R Place) on site, next door is Wendys and a Pilot Travel Center, which has a Dennys. There is no truck/RV parking, so if you drive one, park it at the Pilot and walk over. So, if you want simple place to stay without all the frills, this is a nice place to stay the night.

Yvonne and the other staff have been super helpful and friendly from day 1! our cute vacation rental was clean, the park is quiet and everyone around us has been friendly! over the course of these several weeks, we have become friends with Yvonne and some of the other staff here - Yvonne has been so helpful keeping us informed with things to do around the surrounding areas, special promotions coming up in the park and checking in with us to make sure we are having a great stay here @ Central Park! We will be back!
