After a car accident we were able to check in late at night, the owner Marie was waiting for us and even gave us a beautiful dinner!!! Every corner of this house is full of love and care. The best place to stay near Paris ❤️

Great views
Reviewed By adamtL8622DUI have only stayed at the Ibis before, but the Best Western is not like an American one. The staff speaks passable English as long as you are willing to try. I used it as a way to improve my French. The restaurant is not great but I suspect that is due to COVID. Patrick seems to be the head waiter and does an amazing job. Overall, the staff has gone out of their way for me. Will definitely stay here again.

Terrible
Reviewed By Paul TWhere to start? Room tiny, toilet so small it was almost impossible to open close the door while inside. When I asked for water while my friends were drinking beer the manager thought he was very funny saying 'here are your beers and a water for the girl'. He then proceeded to make similar comments during the evening - had we been in the UK rather than France he would have been shown the error of his ways. We sat down for dinner in the restaurant about 7.30 and didn't finish until 11 because the service was so slow (and it was only 1/4 full). Half the items on the menu were not available and what we did get was almost inedible - eg chewy tough luke warm steak. Cheese course was 2 1" square pieces and 2 tiny pieces of bread.There is nothing good to say about this place. We have taken a motorcycle trip around France every year for the last 20 years and have stayed in hundreds of hotels - this was by a mile the worst - avoid like the plague.

Charming & Definitely Will Return
Reviewed By Megan MWhat a charming place! Built around 1650, this house is full of rooms with fun, bright themes! It features a spiral-style staircase, so if you have heavy luggage I may request a lower room if I were you. No fans or A/C (not surprised due to age of house), but the windows that open allow a very nice breeze to come in during the evenings. The garden is gorgeous. It really feels like stepping into another world here - we loved it here! Breakfast consisted of orange juice & coffee, a few meats, plenty of cheese (mostly soft cheeses), and of course a nice selection of bread. Madame speaks English well enough to answer all my questions which is great! I greatly enjoyed staying here and will do so again next time I’m in the area!

Propre et bien situé
Reviewed By casaboehrerNous avons séjourné 3 nuits au Gîte de L’isle. Le studio s’est avéré être très propre. La localisation au centre ville et à deux pas de la Marne est intéressante. Le grand parking public est très proche. Voici les trois seuls points positifs pour cet hébergement.
