Reviewed By john hSmashing hotel with a talented chef producing delicious meals. The welcome was warm. The rhubarb tart was magnificent (and rare in France). We asked for and were served local wine which was very much to our taste. The room was large and comy - loved the wood floor. Would be a pleasure for anyone to stay and eat here. Beautiful house in a nice village with a super host.
Reviewed By SouthCoastMWe stayed here for two nights whilst looking around the local area and wish we could have stayed longer. We were greeted by Barbara who showed us to our lovely room with huge en-suite and given some information about the local area, including the amazing local restaurant. The room was warm and comfortable and the shower was probably one of the most powerful and refreshing i've had in any hotel or guest house. The breakfast was fantastic both days with everything you could wish for and a plentiful supply of coffee. The breakfast room is a very unique room with a fascinating history and we were made to feel very welcome chatting to Barbara about the local area and the history of the house. We will definately be back at some point!

Chambre grande, bien chauffée, moquette bien épaisse, couette et oreillers aussi. Petit déjeuner compris dans le prix bien copieux. Très au calme, à mi chemin entre Availles Limouzine et l'Isle Jourdain. A 10 minutes à peine du circuit Val de Vienne. Très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous recommandons.
