I’m reviewing my tour with Yama Tours which, because of the pandemic, did not happen. It is important to chose a reputable tour operator and one you can trust. Our tour had to be cancelled because of both the pandemic and civil unrest. In these situations, you are concerned about your deposit. Yama Tours could not have been more thorough, trust worthy or understanding. Hopefully, within a year, we will be able to rebook our trip with them, having dealt with them in adversity, we look forward to joining them once situations allow, Ethiopia is a travel ambition and we couldn’t be happier to enjoy it in the capable hands of Yama Tours!

I've got the best possible service, as for me. I had a really good guide and great driver. He was very attentive: I did video on the way with opened windows and driver closed window for safety and said me I can continue to video street life. I liked traditional clothing market a lot: if you want to have really beautiful souvenir from Ethiopia, I think Shiromeda ( I'm not sure, if I wrote it correctly..) is the best possible place)) I really highly appreciative for the service I had. We visited Mercato market and I felt totally safe there: without a guide I would never go there. But with the guide it was very interesting and safe visit. The tour is flexible and it's great: you can choose what is interesting for you. We bought good coffee on the way and also I've tasted avocado and mango juice)) The owner of company is great and treated me in the best way)) Highly recommended Ethio Travel and Tours for your tours through Ethiopia and Addis.

I did a City Tour through Royal Gondar in February. I booked through Viator, which was problematic as they did not pass my booking along to Royal Gondar. This caused me a lot of stress and worry at the airport when there was no one to meet me! Luckily, a local guide named Amha knew the company and helped me contact them, and despite Viator's errors, Alex quickly arranged everything so that the trip went on as planned. Amha ended up guiding me and was extremely helpful in taking me to the markets to help me find what I wanted - I never would have known where to go or what to buy without him. He also helped me to go to the pharmacy and get the medications I needed as I was ill. The guide for the historical sites was fantastic - he had so much information and was fascinating to talk to, as well as being really friendly. Alex checked in with me throughout the day to make sure all was well and despite Viator having not yet forwarded payment, did not charge me anything and assured me it would be sorted. I ended up having one of the nicest days of my trip thanks to the kindness and professionalism shown by this company.

They have great guides, They know all about the flora and fauna of the simiens, are friendly, and professional. We were well looked after in camp with good tents, sleeping bags, food, and even hot water bottles! The simiens mountains are beautiful, we also saw walia ibex, Ethiopian wolves, and gelada monkeys.
7. Simien Mountain Trekking full day excursion
A full day excursion morning start around 7:30am drive all the way to the National park via Debark where the head quarter up to the 2nd camp Sank ber and trek through the spectacular views for about 4 to 5hrs You see the wildlife and birds diversity. The time of the trekking is flexible which will less or more then have a picnic in the nice views and return via stop at different viewpoints villages like stop over to see the old Jewish village
