Very nice place to stay near Plitvice Lakes National Park
Reviewed By adypipVery friendly owners and nice location close to the main road, in the forest. It`s a pitty that I reserved only one night at Nova Lika but most probably I will come back here. Rooms are clean and confortable but the bathroom was quite small (first floor room). Breakfast was ok and enough. Plitvice Lakes are quite close, around 10 - 15 min by car. There is a good restaurant at max 1 km where we had an excellent meal (Rudanovac 88).

Reviewed By TravelsNSmilesWe had a lovely time staying here while visiting Plitvice lakes. My husband and I booked the room with a private bath that also had its own terrace. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room is around a 3-5 minute walk to two restaurants that are close by and is about a 10 minute drive to the lakes. In other words, a great location. When we arrived we were greeted by the very kind and friendly host with homemade brandy as well as some tiramisu. Despite the language barrier, we were able to communicate with him just fine. There was a smaller shared fridge where we could store some drinks and snacks we had brought with us -- otherwise, no kitchenette. I do not recall there being air conditioning but we did not need it. Overall, this was a great experience. The little kittens on the property were adorable and a plus, too.

Quiet and peaceful place, dog friendly
Reviewed By Jan MGreat place away from the main street by the wood. We had a standard room, it was very clean, small but enough for 1 night, ideal for trip to plitvicki, sleep over and continue to south. There is a big garden, where our 2 dogs could run freely. The owner is very kind and let us ch-in in the morning after a night drive. Thank you.

Peaceful stay with clean room and good facilities
Reviewed By LydiatravelssI had a lovely stay at guest house Kovačevic. The room was clean and had fresh bedding and towels. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable and I slept very well the whole time I stayed here! The bathroom was just across the hall and was also clean and had a decent shower. The owner was always on hand if I needed anything and spoke good English. The whole property is very peaceful, and the outside area is lovely and well maintained. The location is great for accessing Plitvice Lakes, Barac Caves, Big Bear Zipline, Plitvice Adrenaline Park, Wild Spring Ranch and Macola Zoo. I would recommend staying here with a hire car as taxis can be quite pricey. It is also possible to walk into Korenica (about 45 minutes) and catch a bus from there to Plitvice Lakes, Zadar, Split, Zagreb, etc. There are also a few nice restaurants within walking distance that are reasonably priced. Overall, I would definitely recommend this guest house and I'd love to stay here again.

Reviewed By MariesL4Very clean room, with everything we needed. Walking distance from the supermarket and a good pizzeria. The hostess speaks good english and german. 20min drive to entrance 2 of plitvice. The hostess gives you all the information you need.
