Located in seaside Glenelg overlooking picturesque Holdfast Shores Marina and Wigley Reserve. The closest motel to the beach, just a short walk to the many cafes, restaurants and hotels and cosmopolitan Jetty Road Shopping.
Terrible service. Rooms were fine for cost
Reviewed By roxsaipowThe rooms were fine. Small and dark however it was very cheap so you get what you paid for. What annoyed me most was that we arrived to the hotel at 12. We were told we could pay $60 to have the room then and there but if we didn’t want to pay $60 the room wasn’t ready - which seemed a) contradictory and b) just petty. Hotels you stay it which are much nicer will just allow you to enter the room 2 hours earlier if a room is available whereas this place, even though the room was clearly available - because if we paid $60 it was going to be - they were too petty to just allow us access to it. It’s not like we asked at 7am?! We were two hours earlier than check in time… What made it weirder was when we said we weren’t going to pay $60 she said well here’s the key but just don’t go in your room until 2pm. It was all very odd. Other staff members there were lovely and I feel if we dealt with a happy one we would’ve not had this issue.

Reviewed By Randal MReally a standard motel with access to rooms from the outside of the building. Parking close to rooms. Comfortable bed - adequate bathroom/shower. Clean but in need of a little TLC. Close to good bars and restuarants. 15 minutes walk to thecentre of Glenelg where one can take the tram/light railway into the centre of the city.

The newly refurbished Adelaide International Motel offers large, clean rooms in a friendly atmosphere. The motel is centrally located 5 minutes from Glenelg, and 15 minutes from the airport and the city travelling by car. A continental breakfast menu from 7.30am - 9am delivered to rooms only. The Adelaide International is the ideal venue for group bookings, conference and function hire. FREE Wifi FREE Secure Car Parking. Our motel has just installed a 'LIFT' for our rooms on the upper level. We also cater for disabled guests with walk in shower access. Guests are informed that the establishment charges a $300 bond on arrival for any guests paying by cash on arrival.
Wonderful place to stay, Love it
Reviewed By Val BBack again, as it is one of our favourite places to stay. The staff are so helpful and the rates are good. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were soft instead of being like rocks ars we have had in other places. The room was clean and we had room to take the wheelchair into the bathroom. There was only a continental breakfast but was was great, with cerial, fruit, yogurt, milk,juice, toast and condiments and coffee. It was fantastic and delivered to our room We love this place and would recommend it to everyone

It would be remiss not to mention and praise Leon for his unbridled help when our hire car decided not to start. Without his help we would have been at a great disadvantage - Thanks again Leon.

Rooms are not serviced if you stay for more than one night. Carpets are filthy.... probably stay elsewhere would be my advice, unless they run a cheap, 1 night special.

Very disappointed

The beds are so hard and you can feel the springs, the pillows are so soft you need 4x to equal one, also the outside light shine in directly onto the bed as the curtain did not cover the window. Could not sleep at all! The mirrors were dirty as was the bathroom, the shower was disgraceful with little pressure due to the build up of calcium. The tv reception constantly cut in and out. When we approached staff we were told the beds were new, the tv never does that, etc. We checked out early only to be charged for the commission of our entire stay due to "booking.com policy" we were told by Bev at reception, I tried to explain to Bev that booking.com would only charge commission on what was paid as they do with bookings at the hotels I have worked at, I also explained to her if I cancel on the app Booking.com would charge no commission, yet she proceeded to charge over $90 so the hotel was not at a loss. No compensation offered for our terrible experience or sleepless night. Save your money a backpacker would be more comfortable and accommodating.
