Reviewed By Mandyp13A wonderful spot, fantastic views, great hosts and accommodation and yummy food. In the hills yet 30mins from the coast, a little haven of needed tranquility. The breakfast was delicious and for a little extra our host provided a lovely tapas meal. The pool was what was needed after a hot day out and about.

A wonderful stay
Reviewed By stephenbertiI just returned from a 3 night stay at La Fuente Oase with 9 friends who were all attending a friend's wedding nearby. We were fortunate enough to have the whole place to ourselves and we all loved it. The location is stunning and peaceful and the hosts were incredible, providing delicious breakfast and lunch, and even driving us to the nearby wedding venue. We would definitely return!

Our new country guesthouse is built in typical Andalusian style. Our bed and breakfast is situated in the countryside of Coín, Andalusia, only 20 minutes to Málaga Airport and 30 minutes for the coast. Finca La Luna Azul is ideal for a relaxing holiday away from it all. The 4 apartments all have private bathrooms and satelite T.V.

Reviewed By Costin NWe stayed at this finca for a week in august and it was great. It’s a good place to stay for visiting Andalusia. The property is clean, breakfast is nice, and the hosts are always doing their best to make sure that the guests have a good time.

Reviewed By Impulse1958Such a hidden gem, not too far from the town of Coin Malaga. A car is needed. The casita sleeps 4, self catering & a welcome pack was available as well as plenty of clean towels, clean bedding as well as games ie: monopoly, boggle & more. Linda & Graham we’re so welcoming making it clear that anything we needed just let them know, swimming pool looks fab although we didn’t use it, nice area outside to sit privately from the view of the road. Property is Gated so was great to go out leaving windows open with fly net across. Heating available, piping hot water for shower, over all 10/10 we would definitely visit again.

Op slechts 25 minuten rijden van de luchthaven van Malaga kunt u heerlijk genieten van het Spaanse leven. Onze bed en breakfast in het hart van Andalusië ligt tussen de pueblos blancos van Alhaurín el Grande en Coín in. Bij Finca del Gecko vind u een plek met rust en ruimte waarbij de ontspanning en onze gastvrijheid zeer hoog staan. Finca del Gecko is de plek waar u naar op zoek bent!

Reviewed By Dre_BaghusVanaf het vliegveld van Malaga rijden we ongeveer 30 minuten door het prachtige bergachtige gebied van Andalucia om aan te komen bij Finca Del Gecko. Deze B&B ligt in alle rust slecht 20km van de stranden van de Costa del Sol. De bereikbaarheid is perfect. Je hoeft niet over kronkelende, hobbelige, stoffige en smalle bergweggetjes om de finca te bereiken. Je vindt het makkelijk aan een rustige geasfalteerde weg.. helemaal goed, dus. Wat opvalt, als je de poort van de B&B bent gepasseerd, is de volkomen rust die de locatie uitstraalt, je hoort alleen de vogeltjes fluiten... Bij aankomst staat je een warm welkom te wachten, gastvrouw Monique en gastheer Leslie geven je direct een gevoel van "thuis komen". Je krijgt een rondleiding door de mooie accommodatie en goede uitleg over de finca en de omgeving. Opvallend is hoe netjes, schoon en hygiënisch alles is. Een prachtig centraal gelegen zwembad en mooie kamers waar het aan niets ontbreekt. Wat ook te gek is, is de goed gevulde honestybar...... water, wijn, bier, fris, "what else" koffie maar ook tosti's, pizza's en snacks. Je schrijft op een lijstje wat je gedronken en gegeten hebt en rekent dat op het einde van jouw vakantie af... Top.. Wat ook top is is het ontbijt !! Dat wordt geserveerd aan een tafeltje met een mooi uitzicht over de vallei en bergen. Je merkt aan alles dat het ontbijt met veel liefde is bereidt, heerlijke verse producten en veel verschillende gerechtjes passeren de revue... en elke dag verrassend anders, echte verwennerij. Wat ook fijn is aan deze B&B is de ligging...De plaats Alhaurin el Grande is met de auto binnen een paar minuten bereikbaar, hier vonden wij verschillende gezellige en goede eetadresjes. Maar ook het fantastische plaatsje Mijas is binnen ca 20 minuten te bereiken, net als het strand en de bekende badplaatsen, Marbella, Torremolinos of Fuengirola. (ca 30 minuten) Malaga is ook zeker een bezoek waard en ook hier ben je binnen een half uurtje vanuit B&B Del Gecko. Naast het feit dat Finca Del Gecko een super locatie, mooie kamers, een mooi zwembad en een heerlijk ontbijt heeft, worden de 5 ***** zeker ook compleet gemaakt door de gastvrouw en gastheer. Wat een leuke, gezellige, open en eerlijke mensen, niets is hun teveel, alles wordt geregeld op een zo natuurlijke en vanzelfsprekende manier... Chapeau voor hun !!! Dit plekje zouden we het liefst voor ons zelf houden.... Maar we kunnen dit alleen maar van harte aanbevelen. Groet, Dré & Mariska

Reviewed By davinadegeestWe stayed 2 nights in the B&B 'Palms & Lights' or 'Luz y Palmas'. It is a nice villa in an urbanization between Alhaurin el Grande and Coin. The urbanization is just off the main road to both towns and the road also easily takes you to the beaches of Fuengirola or Marbella within 20-35 minutes. You can easily get to Mijas, Monda, Malaga, Caminito del Rey, etc. All easy half-day or daytrips. Very central location. Very peaceful and quiet area. The hosts are incredible! Tony and Hazel are so kind! Very warm people. The B&B is not very luxurious but clean and tidy. The two rooms upstairs share a small bathroom. For us this was no problem as we were amongst ourselves. Great price-quality ratio. It was too cold to enjoy the pool so early on in Spring but Tony seems to keep it in tiptop shape. it must be a real joy in summertime. The views from the rooms upstairs to the Sierra de Mijas are breathtaking. The breakfast was enjoyable. We had the option to chose between English breakfast or Spanish breakfast. We tried both :). Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice and warm place to stay and don't expect luxury. Would stay again.

Reviewed By 838Laura1978Sitio ideal para relajarse y desconectar. Los anfitriones son totalmente serviciales y amables. Habitaciones amplias, limpias y comodas. Comida buena y bien de precio. Todo casero. Desayuno correcto. Ambiente relajado escuchando sonidos del campo. No hay television en las habitaciones. 2 cariñosos perros y 7 gatos muy bien educados te acompañaran en tu estancia. A 5 min en coche del c comercial. Ideal para desconectar.
