Travemunde - Lubeck's most beautiful daughter.Clad in elegant white, the A-ROSA Travemunde perfectly embodies the summery freshness and flair of the traditional seaside resort. The listed former spa hotel appeals on account of its scenic location on the Brugmanngarten, not far from the promenade. It has magnificent views across the sea and natural park through its large arched windows. Hours spent daydreaming in a beach chair, a stroll through the old town, active relaxation through sports or the SPA - here, on the outskirts of Lubeck, it's always feel-good season.
SPA visit with "no SPA"
Reviewed By tregdraagaaMy wife and i went to A-ROSA in travemunde for a 3 day stay. It was a mixed experience at best. Immediately arrived at the hotel we went to the SPA to book massages for our stay. This was just not possible ! The staff insisted the SPA was open and the massages could be booked - but we failed to have even one - first available timeslot was 3 days later - when our stay was over. The area of the SPA was indeed open, but in hindsight we recognized disorganized staff and not "traffic" in the massage and service area. The most irritating part is really that staff insisted that all we asked for was available - when it was so clearly not. All in all a huge disappointment - and not to be recommended. Restaurants, food, bar was good - with good service and kind staff.

GOLF VACATION
Reviewed By 417andersaPerfect golf course (North) , fairways and green very nicely trimmed. Easy to find balls rolling of fairway. Very beutyfull scenearie with the old apple trees and others fruits. Our suite (maisonette) in golfblick, very also very good equipped, with kitchen and two bedrooms. Breakfast buffet were need and inviting ? Dinner at the restaurant were also very decent. Very friendly staff all over the resort.

Sehr schöne Ferienanlage direkt an der Ostsee
Reviewed By olafnellesDa wir diemal an die Ostsee wollten haben wir gedacht wir fangen mal oben an. In der nähe von Glücksburg direkt an der Ostsee auf der Halbinsel Holnis. Die Ferienanlage hat Häuser und auch Ferienwohnungen. Die Betreuung von den Besitzern war sehr nett und herzlich, jeder unserer Wünsche wurde umgehend erfüllt. Unser Haus hatte 4 Schlafzimmer was für Ferienhäuser dieser größe eigentlich ungewöhnlich ist. Nur wenige meter und man ist am Ostseestrand der sehr viel Platz bietet. Da wir in der Hauptsaison da waren können wir trotzdem sagen das wir genug Platz am Strand hatten. In meinen Augen noch ein absoluter Geheimtip. Die nächst größere Stadt ist Glücksburg (kommt in einer neuen Bewertung).

Reviewed By gerof2022Guests SMOKE in the bar; guests SMOKE in the rooms. Everything smells of smoke. Terrible! Not to be recommended. Had we known it, we would not have made the reservation. However, service is alright. Unbelievable: The four cars of owner's family are permanently blocking the parking space for the guests. It seems that everything is stagnant, possibly because owner's family, smokers themselves, are stagnant (and arrogant?). We left very disappointed.

Reviewed By Sean QAs an American who has been going to Timmendorf his whole life, I can say this hotel, owner and location are excellent. I have been to this Villa at least 5 times and have never been disappointed. Breakfast is superb.
