Reviewed By donflwcoMy wife and I and another couple planned a weekend getaway to ride the train and visit the Winery and Prison Museum. We selected Parkview based on reviews and location. What a pleasant surprise this non-chain family owned Motel was! The rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Each room is uniquely decorated and having a real old-school key on a fob brought back childhood memories. The continental breakfast was very adequate. The location was walking distance to the train depot, prison museum and main street shopping. Would stay at Parkview Inn Motel over major chain again in a heartbeat.

Top notch motel
Reviewed By MartazU3145XVThe front desk was able to get us into an accessible room, which was so helpful because my husband has mobility issues. The king bed was comfortable, we heard no noise from other guests and the breakfast was great with a very attentive lady in charge.

Its Good for Just Sleeping Basically
Reviewed By Y8914NMangelaaIf you're just looking to sleep its probably okay. The rooms are clean enough. We booked a room for four of us, they gave us two towels, one bar of soap to use for both washing hands as well as for the bath, and housekeeping never stopped by to replace or change trash or anything. The seating area for breakfast is tiny, with maybe a handful of tables. We were fortunate enough to have the lucky timing to secure a table. The waffles there are good though, as were the coffee and juice. When we arrived the mini-fridge was broken, but the attendant brought us a new one right away which fixed the problem. The room was pretty hot when we arrived, but the air conditioner worked great and quickly. I also like that they provide Matrix branded shampoo and conditioner. The view looks much better in the photos they use than in real life. In real life, you can see mountains, but you're going to see huge areas of run-down businesses everywhere too. I guess its what you would expect from a Super 8. I do feel the price was slightly high for what it was, but not too unreasonable I suppose.

Reviewed By Golli1129The best was the bigger rooms! Be aware that everything smells from smoke. It seems every single guest is hanging around smoking. We had an issue with the rate and Renea at the front desk was very professional, courteous and helpful in solving the problem. She deserves 5 stars.
