This is a monument to a child soldier, fighting in the 1944 Warsaw uprising. The monument is just s stone throw from the square, alongside the outer wall. Worth a visit as many children perished in the fighting

The mermaid was surrounded by an ice rink where the younger ones enjoyed the experience. Very cheap with plenty of time given . Mulled wine huts were set up to amuse the adults while they watched.

This stunning landmark commemorating King Sigismund III of Poland is located at the Castle Square next to the Royal Castle. The column was erected in 1644. The Corinthian column is 8.5 meters high. The sculpture of the King is 2.75 meters high.
