Airport Tourist Village Melbourne

Clean and comfortable

Reviewed By Travellingnurse1

I was very impressed with the Airport Tourist Villiage, we stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin, my husband, myself and it 1 year old. The price was affordable and the free airport transfers were fantastic. The accommodation has portacots available for no extra charge when booked direct with the company. The accommodation was exceptionally clean, I was pretty impressed with the standard of cleanliness throughout the accommodation including common areas - bbq and games rooms. I would happily stay here again. There was an IGA ( supermarket) within easy walking distance of the accommodation, cafes and takeaway food options. The kitchen was well equipped.

Nightcap at Sandown Park Hotel

Food was lovely

Reviewed By Cheza-Brad

We all agree the food was very good and worth the wait. There was 6 adults today, we all orederd and our friend who ordered last got his meal first and was finishes before we even got ours. Service was not the best. It came with a smile and they are very friendly, but the restaurant was not busy enough, there was about 35 to 40 people sitting down for a meal and 5 font of house staff and well the speed of service was terrible. It was clean and neat to look at. Very much a typical gaming room bistro. I had garlic prawns, a garlic bread, and dessert, Hubbie had a entree squid and the special Porterhouse for the day and the total it was $84. So not cheap but did enjoy it all. The the dessert was explained as a burnt lemon and lime tart and well there was no burnt it was just taken out of the cake display and put on the plate with some cream not very good.

Melaleuca Lodge Beaconsfield

Melaleuca Lodge is seriously outdated

Reviewed By MazPG8439FK

If you love a motel that is seriously run down, unclean and outdated , the this is for you. When we arrived, you automatically could see stains on the bed linen. The bathroom door when shut kept getting stuck at the top (the whole room is not square) so you got stuck in the bathroom. This terrified my children as they thought they were stuck. The beds were uncomfortable and squeaky. The front door didn't open too well either. You could hear it scraping along the carpet every time it was opened. This Motel was in a good location for visiting our friends however, being on the highway it was VERY noisy. We had to check the windows were closed several times before going to sleep it was so bad. Our room was even located the furtherest distance. Their outdoor lighting system was so bright and stayed on all night, make it impossible to get a true dark room for sleeping. The bathroom had been upgraded recently so it was the saving grace of the entire room, however you don't sleep in a bathroom! Overall, it was an awful place to stay. I wouldn't recommend as a place to stay for a family.

Filthy and NOT COVID CLEAN!!!

Reviewed By soozp2022

The room was absolutely disgusting. Food crumbs from previous guests in the cutlery tray, food stains in the fridge, hair in the fridge, mould in the shower, BLOOD STAINS on the bed linen. And the owner has the audacity to say I'm too fussy. Seriously? Expecting a serviced apartment to be clean with no food or blood stains present is being fussy? The car park is very tight, if you have anything larger than a sedan, you'll have a job getting your car parked. Rooms are very very small. The photos are very deceiving. I checked out early and asked for a refund of my full prepayment. The owner refused so I had to get airBNB involved and they also agreed the property had breached cleaning protocols so I got my full refund. Go to the Quest Mont Albert, it's a 3 minute walk from this property, it's clean, the staff are friendly and the car park is huge!

Nice

Reviewed By nkftravels

This is a gorgeous house, not far from a few shops and a bus stop right outside. It has a small garden, big kitchen and enough fridge room. Room is spacious, clean bathroom, good Wi-Fi, TV and comfty bed. Carpets are really fluffy and soft! Only things I would add, in the bathroom should have a hand soap and hand towel for hygiene reasons. There was hair on inbetween the seat and lid of the toilet. Kettle should be dusted and maybe shouldn't be in the bathroom and table surfaces in the room had hair and dust. The bed frame is very squeaky with every move however softly you try to move or sit. The air conditioning was quite loud, think as part of the cover is open/broken. Also on the last night it came on it really spelt bad through the whole night. Otherwise was a lovely stay and great communication with host via email if needed anything!
