Reviewed By danelle68We attended a wedding 45 minutes away. This location was on our way home. The employees were very nice. It was clean. Our bed was very comfortable. Our overnight visit was short and didn’t grab breakfast but did have coffee for the road. I would stay here again if the occasion arose.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!
Reviewed By Lon1861This place is unbelievably horrible! We stayed here for the first time (and last time) in April 2022. There was partying, cigarette smoking, pot smoking, yelling, door slamming, running and screaming down the hallways from 12:30am until the Seaford Police arrived at 3:00am. We called down to desk; nothing changed; We threatened to call the police - but another patron beat us to it! I went down to the desk in person with my GSD at the same time the police showed up. The manager was in the next day, and I complained that we had only 3 hours sleep, and had a 7 hour drive. I also vehemently complained about the marijuana and cigarette smoking. She was extremely rude and said “Yeah every time the police show up here, they wake me up, too! I got no sleep either!” She also said that this “happens all the time” and “ we enforce hotel rules” !!!!!!! What a joke! No hotel rules are enforced, no quiet hours are enforced. Extremely unsafe and NOT family friendly! If you want to party in the primate house at the Seaford Zoo during feeding time, by all means book your reservation here today! I’ll be getting a quiet night’s rest down the road.

Reviewed By thunderblaster1) At time of check-in the front desk didn’t seem to know quite what they were doing. First they couldn’t find my reservation. They finally found it and then they couldn’t make the keys work properly and it took a long time to get the keys activated. It seemed like their first day on the job (even though it looks like the owners were the ones at the front desk). 2) The room was in the back of the hotel on the 2nd floor. No parking in back (faced a grassy area and a lake behind some trees). It was hard to get to the back with luggage. 3) I will give credit that the room was clean and had microwave and fridge. However there were no other amenities, such as coffee maker or hair dryer. Towels were very thin and worn out. Bedspread and blankets were very thin. The room had some kind of vinyl floor - no carpet. Wifi is weak (3 bars). 4) The area is a bit sketchy. People were hanging outside smoking and talking loudly into the night. For the price I paid, nearly $200 a night, I would not stay here again unless I really had to. This is a $50 a night motel. I did not see the value for my money for what I paid.

I’d rather live in my car
Reviewed By petuniaincIt was dirty, inside and out, the dryer didn’t work properly, and it was used for section 8 and domestic violence victims. Anything that you could imagine that comes with those two class of people is exactly what this hotel was like. The staff was very nice and accommodating, but there’s only so much they can do to control the clientele. Cops were there more than a few times.

Its close to nowhere!
Reviewed By Thomas KI can't bash the establishment. The room wasn't perfect but it was clean and nice sized. The hotel has a pool which is nice for relaxing. The hotel is across the road from a racetrack/casino. The staff are super freindly and helpful with reasonable rates. The lobby is large and breakfast is free. I think the building is older but is kept up.
