nice, cozy hotel an incredibly low price
Reviewed By babapapa2017The hotel is situated in the centre of Nueva, newly renovated and contains quite a many antiques interior, but new and nice bath rooms. Very cozy and comfortable at a comparably low price. The room at the ground floor contains a jacuzzi! On top, there are double rooms woth two double beds for families.

The hotel has 10 double rooms , Each room has its own bathroom with hairdryer, welcome towels and items, flat screen TV and telephone. The rooms, rustic style have been meticulously decorated by it . The hotel is located in a small village Oviu, one of the main summer resorts of the LLanes council. In the middle of the path of Santiago and the coastal , 10 minutes from LLanes and Ribadesella, 1 km from the village of Nueva. In a rural environment, surrounded by forests 2 km from the beaches of Cuevas del Mar and San Antonio. From the Ovio rural hotel you can enjoy magnificent views of the Picos de Europa. The environment offers a multitude of possibilities, routes along the cliffs to the beaches of Cuevas del Mar, San Antonio, the hermitage of San Antonio, bufones, hontoria, strike beach ... The routes have a duration of 2 hours, with little difficulty so the whole family can participate. Tranquility, culture, gastronomy, tradition, you can define this place. free wifi and parking
A rural little gem of a hotel
Reviewed By David PThe hotel is in a Rural setting in quite grounds with splendid well appointed rooms with good modern bathrooms all of which were clean and well looked after with a rustic feel to them. There was good grounds with and outside sitting area. The bar is very basic but functional, the restaurant was not open so we had to eat out. we walked to the village and had a great meal in the eating place recommended by our host who spoke very basic English but good French as well. The host was very helpful and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. There is adequate parking outside. The walk to the local village is about 10 mins and is a pleasant walk. We had breakfast which was basic but at 3.5 euros was fine.

Sleep is fantastic because the mattress is very comfortable and the surroundings peaceful. The village is beautiful and has good access to the most interesting attractions in the nearby.

Reviewed By LaViajera007Well, we were Peregrinos/walkers and came upon a sign on a property that said Pension San Jorge and then looked further to the left and saw a Hotel San Jorge and it was a bit confusing to find the Pension San Jorge as you need to check in at the Hotel and then they will walk you down to the apartment building. I would say the room was OK, nothing special. The very small village does seem to have a few cafes, a restaurant and a few other stores stocking some of our small necessities. The Pension is at the head of the one village street.

Small, friendly, family hotel
Reviewed By bloxwich1956We had a very pleasant 4-night stay in this small, friendly, family-run hotel (with its own carpark) in the centre of the village, and just a 2km walk from Cuevas del Mar beach and near to all the bars and restaurants. Our room was a good size with picture window views of the village, a comfy bed and large bathroom. We particularly enjoyed the breakfasts on the terrace in the mornings, watching the world go by, and similarly beers in the evening.
