Situé dans la vallée du Loir, l’Hôtel de France, avec sa façade Art déco décorée de lierre, propose des chambres chic et confortables, une terrasse ensoleillée et un coin privé avec jardin et piscine chauffée près du Loir. L’hôtel est la base idéale pour découvrir la région! L’établissement se trouve dans le joli petit village de La Chartre sur le Loir, entre le Mans et Tours, et à 2h30 de Paris. L’aéroport de Tours se trouve à seulement 40 minutes. Utilisée comme QG secret pendant des années par des stars du monde automobile dans les années 50s, 60s et 70s, l’hôtel a également accueilli un président français, la famille Kennedy, Steve Mc Queen, etc. L’Hôtel de France est indépendant et a été racheté il y a 5 ans par un fan de sport automobile britannique, Martin Overington. Avant cela, l’établissement est resté dans la même famille pendant 4 générations, la famille Pasteau! Toutes les chambres ont donc été refaites il y a 5 ans. Toute l’équipe de l’Hôtel de France a hâte de vous accueillir dans ses murs!

Reviewed By Alan PImagine an ideal French hotel with a classic dining room and comfortable accommodation set on a small village square in beautiful countryside. You've arrived at La Chartres sur le Loir and really won't be disappointed. It feels as if it's always been there, just like it is today, nothing pretentious and hugely popular. Be sure to book for dinner, it would be great shame to miss out.

La Tale is an excellent choice for travelers visiting Chahaignes, offering many helpful amenities designed to enhance your stay. La Tale features a sun terrace and executive lounge access, to help make your stay more enjoyable. The property also boasts a pool with a view. If you are driving to La Tale, free parking is available. WOW! Classy B&B
Reviewed By Supercooper68This classy B&B did not disappoint! What a stunning location with welcoming, friendly hosts, Julie and Francis going above and beyond to make our stay pleasurable. We were breaking up a long journey with an overnight stay and to be honest we didn't want to leave. If I hadn't already paid for another place for the return journey then I would have happily stayed here again. Francis booked a table for us at the village restaurant Chez Miton where we had a lovely meal and start to our holiday. Our room was beautiful, with so much attention to detail, even a bottle of water and a glass by each bedside table. The bed was huge and extremely comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous too. How lucky are they to live in such a lovely place? We would have to hesitation to return and to recommend - thank you both.

Walking distance into town with nice clean facilities , good breakfast and best of all, friendly owner who showed us around her wine cave and explained her wines well. Certainly worth buying some !

Bed and breakfast in Chahaignes, in the heart of the nature, between Loir and Bercé. Chahaignes is situated in the valley of Loir, exactly between Tours and Le Mans. Beautiful & large fish. Average size is 15 kg, fish up to 22kg are caught every year, in private lake.

Nice quiet B&B near beautiful countryside
Reviewed By Tim BStayed one night here on my way further south, and was given a nice and friendly welcome. This is run by Sue and Anthony, who are English, and was welcomed with coffee and wine both welcome after a long journey. I hadn't arranged to eat there but was offered a meal, which i didn't have being vegetarian, but they put together a nice meal on the spur of the moment, which was greatly appreciated. Lovely comfortable room, with en suite bathroom. Will definitely stay here again if i am heading this way! Highly recommended.
