Our hotel is close to area businesses such as Sabic, Newell Rubbermaid, Ingersoll Rand, MSC Industrial Supply, IBM, and Lowes. Lake Norman, Panthers Football Stadium, US White Water Center, NASCAR Hall of Fame, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Race City USA and Downtown Charlotte NC are among the nearby points of interest. In addition, we love hosting sports teams visiting Davidson College, Carolina Rapids, and the Huntersville Family Fitness and Aquatics Center just to name a few. Reviewed By nfall2010This Hampton Inn is north of Charlotte in a quiet suburb. As other reviewers mentioned, the even #’d rooms are on the quiet/parking lot side. Our room was spotlessly clean, especially the bathroom. When using the shower, it was full pressure and instantly hot. The towels in the bath were adequate, but not fluffy. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The front desk clerk when we checked in was very friendly, as were other staff we came into contact with. It is a standard Hampton breakfast, true, but the morning we were here, the omelettes were very good and hot and the thin bacon slices were cooked perfectly. The breakfast area was also neat and tidy. They do have a 24 hr market area in the lobby if you need a snack. When we stayed, the pool did not have water in it. If that is important to you, call to check status before booking. Our only issue is that the room we had had an adjoining door to the room next door. Although the hotel was no where near full, another guest arrived in that room sometime after midnight and was talking loudly and turned the TV on and left it on loud all night long. I was not able to sleep much, although my husband slept right through. The adjoining door allowed some of the noise through, but I am sure I would have heard it through the adjoining wall anyway. He should have known we were in the next door room, because we had our ‘resting’ sign hanging on the door. So, I wish hotels would space guests out a bit, or put guests across the hall when the hotel is not full. We would definitely stay here again if passing this way in the future.

Reviewed By nadeans2022For the price it was just ok. Pretty basic rooms however, the beds were very comfortable! Super thin walls though, so if you are a light sleeper, skip this hotel. Staff was kind and friendly. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. It was half the price of all the other hotels in the area so for just the basics it was a good deal.

Needs Updating
Reviewed By Tanya MThe stay itself was fine. Very quiet. Easy check in. Front Desk was very nice. However, hotel needs updated. We had weird stains on the ceiling above the bed. Wallpaper missing in both bathroom and room. Toilet moved. The bathtub desperately needs gripping on the bottom or someone is going to fall. The TV was big though. And we had a fridge. Beds were very comfortable. We would probably stay again. Just needs updating.

Reviewed By Roam39337779322I stayed at this hotel for 2 days and the room and hall smelled like cigarettes and pot. I tried to complain and there was never anyone at the front desk and no one would answer the phone. I was charged a smoking fee after check out. Me nor my husband smokes. I will not ever stay here again. If you want to stay at a nice hotel go across the street and stay at the Comfort Inn and suites. They are a Choice hotel too!

Reviewed By Doug EStayed there 2/16, light switch went out in the bathroom and the office said they already had a service ticket for it before I was given the room. The sheets didn't look like they had been changed and there were insects in the room. No electricity, insects, continental breakfast was coffee with powdered creamer and some danishes.......
