Hotel Manager has flagrant disregard for California Lodging Law
Reviewed By ConstantTraveler111I have stayed at this establishment many times over the past 4 years. I have seen it been a nice safe haven, then go down hill with pot smoking and parties, then back up again to being a nice place to stay. The front desk staff has always been good at customer service even though the manager isn't. During this stay which has been longer than my usual I was informed by the Manager that I had to leave. They refer to this as the "28 day shuffle." This is clearly against California Law Civil Section 1940.1. Hoteliers try to do this so that they don't have to possibly go through the eviction process for someone that stays over 30 days. When I informed the Manager that this was against CA Law and gave him the code section to read himself, he just didn't care and basically dared me to report him as he is above the law. He violates several CA laws, renting rooms that only accomadate 4-5 people to a group of 7 people. They don't change the sheets as they should unless you call them on it. Again, let me say the front desk staff is good but this Manager is one of the worst I have seen. I understand from the staff he has a very short fuse when it comes to his temper. He is in the hospitality business, there is no room for that kind of demeanor. I will be filing suit in LA County courts to stop this individual from doing this to others!

Reviewed By 560jr31Good customer service friendly environment good place to stay food near by It's right off the freeway so it was convenient for me. I got a room facing the courtyard so the freeway was a bit noise but was not an issue.

Reviewed By Tarashira BValue inn was a pleasant thing I needed to be accommodated for my guest that would have arrived at separate times and the management was great on accommodating me in my guess the room was cozy very intimate for the great for the evening that it was assign for I had to come back to give my key and pick up deposit and the staff gave me no problem everything was great I would recommend this hotel so many of my family and friends in the future

Reviewed By DonotwasteurmoneyI wrote a way longer review on google , but in conclusion, bed bugs , horrible smelly hole and crack filled room , we checked in around 4-5am so paying over $100 , And even informed the front desk about our stay when we checked in, but when we wake up with knocks on the window . Apparently “hotel time isn’t real time” she must have Down syndrome if she thinks that makes sense. that just means they are crooks. Slept for like 3-4 hours just to be told we wasted $100, asked for a refund and was told they don’t do refunds. With how the room and service was I should get it back. And idk but I wonder if something can be done about that ima talk to my attorney seeking legal aid , but I don’t think anything can be done to get my money back, but it’s worth asking. Because I feel scammed and violated and taken advantage of. I don’t have money to be finessed by an establishment that’s supposed to be a BUSINESS, and not a dump . Don’t give them any business, they need to be shut down. Take your business ELSEWHERE
