Welcoming homely feel
Reviewed By Ahsha OWe stayed here on Saturday night before going around Plitvice on Sunday. Hosts were very welcoming (once we found them :-) ) and our room was comfortable. The breakfast and dinner were both delicious, a bit on the pricey side but worth it for the remote location. The only bad thing was the smell in the bathroom, the pipes smelled of sewage. Room was fine though.

Reviewed By SoloSunjoI took the FlixBus which is so easy to ride around Croatia in. From Zagreb to Plitvice Lakes it’s a short 2-2.5 hours. The guest house is a 5 min walk from the bus stop. On a quiet country road. The owners are lovely people who speak English. They are very accommodating! The house has a lovely shared kitchen and some rooms have a private bath. The area is clean and safe. 10 minute walk to the market and 15-20 easy walk to park entrance. ATM is located outside the front door of Hotel Bellevue and inside the lobby of Hotel Jezero-both are next to Entrance 2 of the park. When you pay the park fee you get to use their buses (aka train) and boats to take you to Entrance 1 and surrounding area. Worth the visit!!

Welcome to House Petra, set in a tranquil location in Rakovica only 8 km from Plitvice Lakes National Park. It offers comfortable apartments with balconies and free access to Wi-Fi. House Petra is a warm and friendly guesthouse. Each accommodation has a private bathroom, a satellite TV and a kitchen or kitchenette. Kitchenware, a dining area and a tea/coffee maker are provided. Guests can rent free bicycles in nice weather or relax on the sunny terrace. Barbecue facilities are at guests’ disposal. A children’s playground can be found in the garden.During winter guests can use the ski storage room. Free private parking is offered on site.

Reviewed By JulesbSouthLondonThe apartment was lovely and comfortable. We were also given a cot for our 1 year old daughter. The owner was very friendly too. When we arrived she gave us some cake and local liquors which was a nice touch.

A perfect vacation
Reviewed By mmikula2014We were here as two families, so we occupied the entire house. The owners, Gordana and Goran, have done all they could to make us feel at home. We enjoyed our stay enormously. The house is in a lovely location, surrounded by green hills and only a very short distance from the National Park and the local shops and supermarkets. It is well appointed and clean. There is also a handy kitchenette and an outside barbecue and dining area.
