HÉLIOS is a Dutch barge of the type Luxemotor.This barge was built in SAPPEMEER right in the North of the Netherlands in 1924.It is 27, 96 m long by 4, 36 m wide.She carried blocks of concrete to be used in the construction of dams in the Amsterdam region for many years.After travelling on Dutch canals and lakes, she ended up in the North east of France in 1992 where she was transformed into a houseboat.In 2006, Natacha and Olivier docked her in Beaucaire on the Rhône canal and turned her into the houseboat you can see today.They welcome you on board this welcoming and cosy houseboat and hope you enjoy discovering the “Camargue” and “Provence” cabins and, last but not least, the “Captain’s” cabin for a timeless stay!

Reviewed By Derek EWe were made to feel very welcome by the owners and they couldn't have been more friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean and we had a lovely breakfast each day on the balcony. All in all a very nice place to stay.

Situated in the heart of Provence, La choisity is a wonderful bed&breakfast is an oasis of calm and serenity. It's 5 suites offer superior quality bedding and italian showers or bath. A continental breakfast if included in the price. The beautiful mansion also offers a great swimming pool and a nicely decorated park.
Stunningly French living up to all expectations
Reviewed By JanpyeSix days in June, stunning, interesting and very comfortable. An extraordinary house to be part of, with enormous kitchen breakfast area, so very relaxing yet highest quality. We were delighted to be offered our own fridge in this designer kitchen where we could also enjoy our own lunch or light supper, which we did, also sitting out in the charming patio. (Aramon has excellent supermarket on edge of town together with petrol station - beware self service to us first timers!). Beautiful spacious bedroom, high quality bedding/linen. Always remember in France to carry your own toiletries including soap for showering. The proprietor had no English, but between us we were guided and helped with places to visit, along with maps and guide books. She was so helpful and interested, and suggested a charming restaurant which she book for us, guiding us how to find it in Aramon. Swimming pool a great addition in beautiful and private gardens. The road the house is on is fascinating, with wonderful views and walks towards Aramon, and in the other direction past old monasteries and woodlands. We would definately return as a it fulfilled all we could have wished for.

10 km from the really dowtown of avignon in the heart of provence in the center of the most touristic trip, two guest houses for 4 people with tv set; shower-room and toilet separed in the main house "la bastide provencale". near avignon in a quiet environment. our breakfast will be served in the dining rom or in the terrace. Diner is also available if you make a special inquiry.

Reviewed By Artemus62Nous avons passé un très agréable week-end de Pâques dans les chambres d'hôtes d'Eloise. Nous ne pouvons que recommander cet endroit. Les propriétaires sont très accueillants, discrets, sympatiques, prévenants, bref des hôtes à l'écoute de leurs clients. Nous avons même pu profiter des chaises longues en fn d'après midi. Aramon est très bien placé pour visiter la région. On se réjouit de pouvoir y retourner une prochaine fois.
