Reviewed By giovannamJ804VII want to make a complaint through this email because of my experience from the first moment. I entered this hotel was terrible. I booked a room for six people, from January 9 to January 10, this taking into account that I had already stayed in a room with that type of accommodation. When I arrived that night, at 9 pm, the first thing that greeted my family and me was a rude person who gave me the keys to go upstairs, then to my surprise the room (411) had a very unpleasant smell, so I decided to go down again to ask for a room change. When I asked for my request, the woman behind the counter since the first moment told me that there were no more rooms with the capacity to 6 people, but when I told her that I knew that there was the room in which I had stayed eek ago, she completely changes her sentence saying that there were not available rooms and I had to buy new rooms; It is important to emphasize that in all of the conversations this lady was not patient, her behavior was rude, with my family and me. Also, she did not answer questions or give us the option to change the reservation. Finally, since we have been traveling for more than 10 hours, we gave up enduring such behavior of the women and we decided to buy an additional room for 98 dollars (that at the end of the day turn on in 109 dollars), taking into consideration that we already had a room for 130 dollars for six people in the reservation. In conclusion, I want you to be clear that the service at this hotel is: lousy, they took advantage of the hours we arrived to make us buy a room, they were rude, their rooms are dirty, and they charged us more than $ 130 in addition to what we had already paid in the reservation and additionally after agreeing to buy another room on the Holiday Inn website, that type of room appeared available as you can see in the attached file. It is disappointing how these types of hotels take advantage of their customers and hire rude and racist people.

Group Reunion - Very, very friendly Hotel Staff!
Reviewed By 659marshazI had a family reunion and we all stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites Selma TX. I can't say enough great things about the staff, from desk clerks to maid service. Our group had about 8 children who loved to run around, and the staff were so very nice to all of them. It was great to have both a microwave and refrigerator in the room. We all enjoyed the dining room area where we were able to play cards and gather as a group. I've stayed in a lot of hotels, and I felt like family by the time we all checked out.

Dishonest hotel!
Reviewed By bustravel12345The amount the hotel charged my credit card was more than the amount which showed up on my final hotel invoice. They claimed I had purchased items at the hotel, which was not the case. They also refused to enforce handicapped parking access.
