Reviewed By justtravelngThe motel has a fresh new , clean and modern look. I was surprised for a smaller town. the room was large, clean, the bed and linens were good quality. It was off the road enough so it was quiet. The morning breakfast offerings were fresh. For hotel food it was plenty. The staff seemed friendly and professional. I would recommend staying here. Several restaurants were very close.

Clean hotel for Byron outage

Motel cleans like an extended stay---unless you tell them to clean your room the night before, the cleaning staff will not enter your room. The good aspects--- the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, breakfast was simple but effective. Temperature was controlled by air conditioner perfectly. Refrigerator worked perfectly. TV worked perfectly. Sink worked perfectly. Carpet was in nice shape. Lamps and alarm clock worked. Bathroom exhaust fan was not too noisy. Shower had plenty of hot water and a non slip mat to use. Improvement areas for my room. The shower dripped constantly (so bathroom door was shut so I couldn't hear it). The desk chair did not sit level. The upholstered chair was in good shape but used a bed pillow to support my back. My job/stay got extended 5 nights and told the front desk to extend my stay. The change was not made in the computer system thus when I got back from work the original end day of stay, I could not enter my room and had to report to the front desk---not a big deal at all but a place for improvement. I would definitely stay here again for the price was reasonable---but I would want a room without a dripping shower/tub faucet. Some guests were rude in letting their room doors slam shut at night and early in the morning. City of Rochelle had high chlorine water for a few days--could smell and taste it.

Reviewed By Joebob747Stopped here coming home from South Carolina and wanted to go around Chicago. Decent hotel. Easy on/off location. Plus you can always watch trains in Rochelle. The young man who checked me in, Xavier, was great and checked to make sure our room was ok. Check out in the morning was easy and the two ladies at the desk we friendly. Breakfast was good.

Reviewed By wenzec01We decided to book this hotel as a stopping point on our vacation. Definitely a nice location as it is outside the hustle and bustle of the Chicago metropolitan area. The breakfast had enough options and they do have a pancake maker which is always a plus. The beds are very firm. The exercise room wasn’t the best according to my girlfriend. But all in all a good experience and would stay here again.
