And still close to the slopes for skiing, just a 15 minutes ride by car and off you go. Certainly for those who do not need an after ski party every night. The owner Laurent and his staff are showing hospitality at its best, personalized, friendly and overwhelming welcome, assistance throughout our stay to a very emotional farewell. Here you feel taken care of. Warm and cozy bedrooms and a delicous a la carte menu with excellent French cuisine, goods from local suppliers at the highest quality; here you lead the life of Riley. If you do not bring your own ski equipment, Laurent can help you to rent out everything, he grew up in this place and knows everybody, we did so and everything was perfectly organized, ski trainers for our kids included. Not to forget that he runs a second business, "Le Central Bar" in Villard-de-Lans, a good place to start the day with a coffee before skiing, for a plat du jour for lunch or just for an aperitif before dinner...typical French Bistro full of locals, worth to visit to see the real life in this region of France. And the incredible barmen Henri, who told me about his passion for hunting and presented me a piece of his freshly shot deer the next day as farewell gift and a recipe for preparing. We did so the next day after our return home, excellent. So if you are looking for a primary place getting local experience, inside nature and away from mass tourism, highly recommended!!!

A true family hotel!
Reviewed By BirteStephenWe arrived in lans en vercors for a wedding and stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. We were welcomed with such warmth which immediately put us at ease. The staff are all so friendly and attentive. We had dinner twice in the hotel and it was lovely and very reasonably priced. We will come back with our 3 children skiing next year! Love to all the staff :-)
