Very charming quiet and nice place
Reviewed By Astou FWe stayed 10 days at Appart Hotel La Girafe this August 2020. The location was interesting for us: 20 miles from Marseille MRS airport and around 10 miles to Marseille and to Cassis as well. We thought to split the stay in 2 parts one in Marseille city and another part in Cassis, however the hustle of moving in and out between hotels during this pandemic period was not tempting. So we decided to pick a place in a quiet area and book a car to visit the region. It’s honestly a wonderful hotel, decorated with great taste, colorful and with lots of thoughtful details (i.g. lovely essence oils diffuser in the lobby, etc...) We had a standard room (no balcony) about 200 sq ft for 115€ p.n., with a comfortable queen size bed, a closet, a functional shower and kitchenette with basic equipments. Even though we didn’t have a private balcony the hotel offers wonderful garden and terraces outside where we could sit and enjoy the cicadas singing as well as great rooftops best spot in the evening to enjoy the very beautiful sunset over the mountains. The lobby is pretty cool as well with paintings, sofas and an area filled with books, toys and kids play, which was well appreciated. The staff were overall very nice and accommodating responding to our requests( providing extra bed etc...) and even recommending us places to visit and good restaurants. Checking was smooth, parking easy and safe. Many thanks to Miss Eleonore and Marine. Related to Housekeepers most likely understaffed and apparently limited due to the pandemic... we’d appreciate being advised of that notice upfront indeed we booked directly with the hotel and did not receive any notice stating no housekeeping would be provided by default...however the manager was nice enough to provide a refresh of the room every other 3 days overall and we understood the complexity of the current situation so that was fine. The real issue which really bothered us was the poor wireless wifi connection, we were unable to connect at all most of the time and was obliged to use mobile 4G connection which added extra cost. We really encourage the management to invest in this issue as it could be serious as we were left a whole weekend without any connection and there was no staff able to even reboot the system. It is not acceptable, otherwise just don’t mention wifi in the characteristic so the people would be aware. This is the only reason we are not putting 5 stars as we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this awesome spot. Thank you for all.

Reviewed By Mauro_NegriniVery simple lodge. Small restaurant is available with shirt list. Unfortunately I have fiund a dirty knife on mi dish but waitress react quickly and apologising. Good for the price you pay. Wi-Fi is free and run pretty well.

High-performance wifi connection with free fiber The rooms are decorated in soft colors and modern furnishings. Calm setting, between old road of Aubagne and small henhouse. Television Flat screen 28' Reception open 24 hours. Concierge Service A full buffet breakfast is available, with a selection of breads, pastries, pastries, fruit, but also sausages, scrambled eggs or hull. Served every morning from 06:00 to 10:15 Restaurants, cafés and bars within walking distance of the hotel

The modern building looks uninviting from the outside, and like a prison cell block from the reception area inside, but nevertheless it does the job. The rooms are no doubt all identical, small but bright and reasonably equipped incorporating a snug capsule-like 'bathroom'. The staff are very friendly, and a buffet breakfast is available in a pleasant area near reception. Can't complain really if you just want somewhere clean and tidy to use as a base.
