Nono Ban received its name from our ancestor, a wealthy noble and landowner. Our first property was realized on the land that we inherited from him, out of appreciation we decided to name the restaurant after him, Nono Ban. After a few years the restaurant expanded into a resort. Our offer includes 12 double rooms and two luxury villas. Under the Nono Ban brand we also have two additional properties, the Hidden Pearl in the private bay of Konjska as well as the Central Pearl in the center of Split. Nono Ban became our brand which is constantly growing, and this is just the beginning of our story…

Reviewed By RyMullallyIt’s hard to know where to start reviewing this place! It is SUCH A FANTASTIC VENUE WITH FANTASTIC PEOPLE! Me and my now wife got married here this summer and we could not have had a better time. There are so many things to be thankful for but I will try squeeze as much as possible in to this review but please do comment if you need anymore info. Firstly, the owners Yerka and Ivo are absolute gems in themselves. Yerka was our wedding planner as well as our guide to everything Croatia! She helped us from start to finish with all of our plans - legality of wedding, flowers, cake, make up, transport - LITERALLY EVERYTHING! Yerka was able to make our drawn out wedding process (due to Covid) so seem less that the usual stress of organising a wedding was almost completely taken away! Yerka listened to everything my wife and I would like and got it sorted. Also - she NEVER EVER gives you unrealistic or overinflated prices. If anything she will advise you against these types of deals. Thank you Yerka you created the most special day we could ever imagine and we will be eternally grateful! Ivo her brother is just as lovely and an unbelievable organiser. He helped ferry all of our guests around the island of Brac for the complete duration of our stay. He has taxis on hand to take you from the airport doors straight to Nonoban resort and then in to wherever you need from there! Ivo is also the food and drinks man. Nothing is too difficult or unattainable - he had enough alcohol to keep 95 scousers going for 5 days on the run and again just like Yerka kept our costs to as much of a minimum as he possibly could. Ivo, thank you mate, you helped us have the best party ever! In terms of the accommodation, what you get is traditional Croatian rural setting -cows included. The location is around 15min taxi ride from Bol but very easily get taxis for around £15 each way in 8 seater people carriers (arranged via Ivo). On site there is a bar, restaurant and pool. As we had rented out the whole complex for a series of 5 days and as it is so secluded we could also provide our own alcohol of an evening and sit around the pool until the last person decided to call it a night. This was the same for the wedding night itself with the last person heading for the sac at 7am! The rooms have modern furnishings and traditional brick work and all have balconies. The air con is also excellent and at no extra cost. As part of our wedding we also rented out Villa Sanja, located on the same site. Here we had our parents and siblings stay for the week of the wedding. This again is traditional and not mod con-like. BUT that’s not what you’re staying in the hills of Brac right? It is spacious, each bedroom has an en suite and it has its own BBQ area, outdoor dining area and private pool. Again, for the price you won’t find much better in the high season if you’re after a longer stay with family or friends! Finally we HAVE to mention the food and the restaurant. The food was one of the things that originally drawn us to Nono ban as a venue as it’s reviews where fantastic - AND they are certainly NOT wrong! The food is simple and traditional AND INCREDIBLE! Our wedding meal was the option of fish, chicken or steak and no one was disappointed! Even the potatoes and cheese soup went down an absolute storm! All of this in a picturesque setting under a light strewn tree with fantastic service and genuinely happy atmosphere made for our best night ever! We can’t thank Yerka and Ivo enough and we will 100% be going back to celebrate an anniversary or 2 - it’s our happy place! If you have got this far down in the review then you must be tempted by this venue at least - what I would say is DO IT! You will not regret it! Enjoy!

They are trying to keep authentic ambiance, customs and food, and they really do a great job. Nearly all the food they prepare is home-grown or home-made. Food is delicious, service is marvelous, as are their domestic products like wine and honey, which one can buy. Will come again, for sure

Reviewed By Houston HThe first thing to note is that this place is truly secluded - which is a virtue - but please note there is a challenging drive down to the villa. 13 tight hairpin turns down a steep mountainside, some of which are on dirt roads. Best done with a smaller car. It's a stunningly beautiful drive, but not for the faint of heart. Once you're at the bottom you have the whole bay to yourself, including a beach and a small concrete jetty. The water is beautiful (as it is throughout Croatia). The view from the villa is superb, best enjoyed with a glass of wine as you tend to the open fire on your verandah's stone cooking area. The villa itself is comfortable but basic. There's solar power and wifi. We visited end of season and the weather was perfect. There's loads of walking and swimming that can be done in the surrounding area. But really, it's all about soaking up the extraordinary view. Loved our stay here - highly recommended.
