Reviewed By MrBill923Love the bed and pillows. Staff very friendly, and breakfast area was well supplied with usual stuff. Rooms and lobby were clean. Not an easy on easy off exit. Its hidden from sight from exit. There are only a few restaurants nearby.

Reviewed By rklink563599The hotel was clean and the staff was courteous - had no real big problems. I would recommend any one who is traveling to Charleston, West Virginia to stay here. It was quiet and we had a good rest while staying here.

Reviewed By 534tommypI hate to leave negative reviews, and rarely do, but I want to warn people about this place. I checked in on July 01, 2021 for 1 night due to a/c issues at home. I paid with a credit card, but was still required to leave a $100 deposit in cash. I had to go to work before my roommate I stayed with checked out so I could not get my deposit back at that time. She couldn't get the deposit back because the room was in my name so was denied. Due to car issues and work, I went back on July 05, 2021 to get my deposit back. The agent at the desk searched through several envelopes of folios and then after around 5 minutes decided to say to me "No you are not getting your deposit back because it is more than 48 hours since you checked out." A deposit is not their money-nor should it be taken from the customer regardless of the time factor. It is a trust factor between a business and customer that the customer won't damage the business, not a source of revenue. To me, this is theft by Rodeway Inn Cross Lanes. I have filed a complaint with Choice Hotels. They called the property and spoke to the same agent and got nowhere. They suggested I go and talk to the manager. i went back and asked to speak to the manager and of course was told by the agent that she is the manager. They are content with treating customers like garbage. It is a disgrace and brings down the reputation of not only their motel, but all Choice Hotels because I feel that I am not a valued customer so I write this review to say neither will you be either.

Reviewed By iafamof4From check-in to breakfast the following morning, the staff here are hands down some of the most polite and accommodating we have ever run across. Our standard king room was clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable, and the shower had great water pressure. Doubt we’ll ever be in this area again, but if you find yourself here and need lodging, this is where you need to land!
