The 10 best Villas in Andalucia, Spain

April 26, 2023 Marianna Hollaway

Distinctive architecture, sun-drenched resorts and eclectic small towns dot Andalusia, a dry, mountainous region of southern Spain that maintains echoes of its Moorish occupation. Spring and fall bring balmy temperatures, ideal for visiting Seville's cathedral, the world's largest Gothic structure, and the 1,200-year-old mosque in Córdoba. Romantics love Granada, home to the fortress of Alhambra and an inspiration to the late poet Federico García Lorca. Don't miss a dip in the sea along the Costa del Sol.

5 day break for two

Reviewed By Aiden M

I stayed here with my partner at the end of May. Overall a great hotel with its own beach, golf course (didn't manage to try out as I have a broken foot but at a glance looks a nice course to play, fairly challenging with the 9th by the looks of it running alongside the beach) and a big pool to relax by. All staff really helpful and friendly, with good albeit pricey food. Two main criticisms are that it is a bit out of the way if you're wanting to be in quick walking distance from amenities, and as a consequence the hotel could do with a shop on site to buy food/drinks etc. This was my first holiday away with my girlfriend so I don't have much to compare this to in the way of price. It felt expensive, so maybe do more research if you want to find out value for money. Personally, I felt I had a great time so the holiday and the money was definitely worth it.

Not as advertised

Hotel rooms weren't as advertised on booking. Com they were much smaller and hard beds too. Very different from what we saw to what we got.. Air con was turned on at night when we arrived and woke up with what was like black Ash all over me it mustn't be cleaned regularly. The only bonus we had was that it was a 2 or 3 minute walk to the beach.

Villa Lorena Malaga

Villa Lorena offers a charming stay in the most exclusive area of Málaga. It may be small in scale, since we have only seven rooms, but our service and hospitality are great. The villa has a garden with private pool and common areas with all the commodities. The beach is just five minutes walking and, the historic city centre and the new harbour are just half an hour walking, we can take a nice walk there, while you enjoy the sun and the sea breeze. Parking in the area is easy and free, but if you are willing to explore the city, we have free bikes for our guest. You can also enjoy our free Wi-Fi in all the areas of the villa, including our gardens.

Myself and several friends rented two villas in the Villa Marina resort at the end of May 2022. From my initial inquiry about booking right up throughout our stay until we left, the hostess Eneli was amazing. Any requests we had while we were there, we were looked after immediately. The villas are 5 star and in an amazing location - 5 minutes walk along the beach up to the port where there are so many restaurants and bars. Will definitely be returning here on our next visit. Would recommend for any type of trip, family/friends/couples. It caters for everything. 10/10!

Amazing place and people!

Reviewed By Viajera51

If you like unusual, off the beaten path, and totally delightful places, this is for you! Perched on a mountain side above Lanjaron, surrounded by fruit and nut trees with spring water flowing through the property, it is both stunning and comfortable. We stayed in a two bedroom apartment with a full kitchen, a living area with a cozy fireplace and a pellet stove, and a very comfortable bedroom and bed. Open the bedroom window at night and you’ll fall asleep to the sound of water rushing by! Our hosts were super and our stay was incredibly relaxing. An added bonus, we drank copious amounts of fresh Lanjaron spring water everyday.
