Had a great time today cooking Polish classics, racuchy and pieroszki, together with a group of cooking enthusiasts, all under the capable, friendly, charming, witty and hospitable guidance of English/Polish hostess Kate and team mates. Nice ambiance, good tools, spacious setup for group cooking sessions, everything well thought out. Of course the eating part was awesome as well, plus the wodka tasting was a charming addition to the experience. I can heartily recommend the team of polishyourcooking.com for fun culinary sessions. They organize workshops on Mexican, Vietnamese and Italian cuisine too. Can't wait to have another go at it.

We booked this class through get your guide as we wanted to learn how to make traditional Pierogi. It was a private class so just the two of us however they also cater to groups. Maria was a lovely hostess, she is very informative about Pierogi history and is very helpful. We first learnt how to make the dough, with some good tips on how to get the dough to rise. Whilst we set the dough aside we went on to our fillings. There are endless fillings for Pierogi (Maria told us) but we went with two: chicken and sweet potato and also chicken and red lentils. (She also caters to vegetarians). We also put some dried onions in there too. Maria showed us how to need the dough and then we put our filling inside. This was the fun part as she showed us many ways in which you can fold your dumplings. (I'm not an expert like her so my folding skills weren't the best, but this is all part of the fun). The dumplings took around 5-10 minutes to cook and we sat down for a lovely lunch of homemade Pierogi and a taste of 5 different polish liqueurs which were lovely. Again Maria had a lot of knowledge on these liqueurs which was great! Overall I had a lovely time here and would highly recommend this class for anyone looking to learn how to make Poland's most popular dish. Thank you Maria for making our day in Warsaw amazing!

This place is AMAZING! One of my friends heard about it and decided that we should go there in a group and make some fun pictures. I was sceptical at first, because it looked like entertainment for kids but it turned out I was totally wrong! We had such a great time and a lot of fun figuring out the best shots at each station! We didn’t even notice how 3,5 h flew ;) At the end we could have some of the pictures printed and that was very nice souvenir to take home. The staff was very friendly and helpful :) I highly recommend this Gallery, especially for adults who seek some creative entertinement and want to feel like kids again :)

Very sobering to think what these Jewish people must have gone through, still hard to believe this happened just relatively a short time ago during WW2,a fitting tribute to the 300.000 that lost their lives on the journey to or at extermination camps.

Pomnik Bohaterow Getta

Reviewed By RRaposoMiami - Miami, United States

Just outside the Polish Museum of Jewish history sits this powerful monument to the Polish Jews and the persecution and Germany's occupation during WWII. Its located in the area of the old Warsaw Jewish Ghetto, now a totally rebuilt area. There are two sides to the large wall structure and some other nearby pieces. The figures coming out of the wall are quite stirring. Don't miss this stop in Warsaw.
